I was never a big fan anyway, but it seems just the same to me.

many factors I guess. They're not in Scotland anymore, the new characters are not as interesting, we seem to fleet from one issue to another without a leading storyline etc

It felt like that in Season 2 also I think, when they were off out of Scotland. I was very bored watching that part.

It's always seemed slow to me. In season one they spent an entire episode torturing Jamie.

Right, but they've spent lie 3 episode sitting on boat nattering. And next episode will be a bore and so will the voodoo episode.
