life has been busy with work on my side. i went out a bit over the weekend. perhaps social life can truly resume with all restrictions gone.

It was great, Tracy! I had a really good night.

I keep getting migraines which is annoying though.

It's nice to have a bit of social life return. I had my parents here this weekend, and we got along for once, which was nice.

Yes. The chiropractor gave me an adjustment, he thought it could help.

They can! I'm trying to let go of old grudges, though. I should try to forge a better relationship with my parents.

I hope you get some time to relax as well.

How’s it all going this week? After 6 years of lots of posting cause of being a mod, I really dropped off on how often I post! Its weird!

My dizziness is now thankfully gone and hopefully won’t come back for the rest of the work year!

Now that we don’t have to always wear masks in BC, I promised myself once we didn’t have to, I’d do a make-over for myself so I bought new makeup and clothes. Sometimes its nice to have new things to wear. And I need to remember to buy colors other than in blue.

I’m glad its spring, it feels much better with nicer weather out!

He was good, thanks Tracy. We played mini golf, and had fish and chips on the beach.

Not feeling too well today. Hopefully we're going up in a hot air balloon tomorrow, so I hope I'm better by then.

Happy Easter! Did you do any festivities for the long weekend?

Does England also have Easter Monday as well as Good Friday? In Canada, that makes it a 4 day weekend, which I love. We didn’t do much here, we had a dinner with my brother, parents and his BF and me. Then tomorrow my other brother and his 2 daughters are expected to come over for another dinner.

Today is just a relaxation day.

How was the hot air balloon?? I have a feeling I did once go up in one myself. But I have a fear of heights like that and can’t imagine how, where or why I would have done that. (Past life experience? )

Yes we have a four day weekend, Leanne!

We had family and friends visiting, so we had a few family lunches. My daughter made a Easter egg hunt for the small children. Today I went to the cinema.

The hot air balloon was super scary! I started to panic when we got really high. Still I did it despite being scared, so go me!

There was hardly any wind so we hardly went anywhere, and then when we wanted to land the balloon was slowly hovering over powerlines, so we couldn't land for ages. When we eventually got past them we came down with a thud in a field and bounced and thudded down again! The owner of the field wouldn't let us retrieve the balloon, so we had to hop it over a fence and hedge next to a small reservoir. There were people on the other side with a line to tug it over. There was so little fuel left, it couldn't take off with all of us on board, so me and my daughter got out and climbed over fences instead, only to get round in time to see the balloon land on the bank next to the water and nearly tip over! I was so glad I wasn't in the basket when I saw that. It was all fine after that and we had champagne to celebrate.

Yeesh, Claire, you are so brave to do these things!!! I don't think I'm at all interested in balloon rides in my future!! I mean the top of St. Paul's Cathedral with the tiny fence keeping me from falling was more than enough to go through!!!


Any good movies in the theater right now??


We had two family dinners on the long weekend. Its a far cry from the big family dinner days. I honestly never thought it would break up like it did.


I have to write a reference letter for the court for my brother soon. We are all curious what his sentencing will be and for how long or whether he will just go to probation?


I am in a good mood today and feeling hyper -energetic!!!
