I'm surprised they are starting right before holidays, but okay. I think last year it was in November. Glad to have a date.

I'm surprised at the timing too. Perhaps it will work to their advantage since a lot of regular shows will be on hiatus?

People tend to be busy that time of year, but if you're home and want something that's not a Christmas special to watch, maybe it will get more people to tune in.

Good point. Most of the other shows I watch don't air in late December or January. I'm always looking for things to watch in January. The biggest downside I see is that the later episodes will be airing against the Olympics in February, but I'm sure that will be taken into account.
