I've seen people describe this episode as a set-up episode (like a pilot episode) and I do agree with that. I'ts super interesting to reset the board in a manner and see where the pieces will fall.

pissed off though that during the last scene of parentage montage, they cut the part where Daemon is actually talking to the twins and hugging them...

I know. What’s wrong with showing that Daemon is a good dad?

I have no clue. Now in the montage he kind of looked like an ass while he clearly cares so much about his daughters. Teaching Baela High Valyrian ... :in_love:

The one girl said he ignored her I wonder why that is.

I think maybe to give her motivation to find her own dragon (story-wise) but character-wise it does seem a bit odd. I don't think Daemon would care about it.

It seemed odd it was as if he just couldn't love them fully even though he wanted too.

Myeah, I guess it will become more clear next episode now that he's a single father.

Maybe I hope so though sad his wonderful wife had to do for him to be a better father.

I want the deleted scene of Daemon and the twins so bad.

The scene of Daemon & Laena on the roof, I felt so bad for both of them.

That scenes does look real sweet.
