But good to hear you all liked it.

Over here (Norway) it's got only mediocre reviews and called mostly a placeholder for the last movie, but glad to hear you all enjoyed it. I still haven't watched it and may just wait for the DVD.

Well, I was thinking of just waiting for next year, when I'm sure they'll show the first part again with the second, to forego the cliffhanger and waiting time, but at the same time I don't want to wait, so yeah...

I love the movies and I tried reading the books when I was in high school, but never got into them. It wasn't until this summer, I read all seven books and became a fan of HP.

I've been into the HP series since like1999 or 2000 Gr 7th teacher read us the first book and just loved them. My mom ended up getting us the last 2-3 of them pre-ordered, so we had all 7. Those are now my sis's cause couldn't take them with me when I moved out, but have had the Adult Set in hardcover for 2 years now actually reading the books now

You had them all except for the 4th?
How did that come?

It's more weird than starting with the third and that was only because my mother didn't think back then.

I think I'm in minority but 4th is my favourite 4th and 5th then pretty much 7th/6th are either tied or it goes 4/5/6/7 but do love the first 3 of course too

I'd heard of HP in 1999 but forgot about it, so when it exploded in 2000 I remembered and quickly started reading!

I love the first three the most, I think, then four, then seven. I liked the Tom Riddle stuff in 6, but that was about it, and 5 was interesting but I HATE Umbridge and really can't stand to read about her

I think the first books were better than the last. JKR created a wonderful world in Hogwarts which kinda disappeared with the boy-on-the-quest -theme of the later books.

I did like the trio in 7, but I do think we could've gotten more Hogwarts stuff. I did love Neville there though
