Pulled out my DVD's on the weekend. Our Mrs Reynolds and Jaynestown are both such terrific episodes. I love the humour, and the actors all make their characters totally believable.

Our Mrs Reynolds was awesome... I still prefer that Christina Hendricks to the one on Mad Men.

Aww, you guys are making me want to rewatch too! But I need to mope around a bit longer for SoA...

Be sure to let us know when you have a chance. It's wonderful how well the episodes hold up over time.

Only watched the first few episodes of that show, couldn't really get into it. And yes, Saffron has so much depth and must have been really fun to portray.

Yay a Firefly thread!

I bought the series like 5 months ago but only watched the first disc back then. Honestly, I had doubts about it because it never really hooked me in.

But then last weekend I finally took the chance and watched the rest of the series and I completely fell in love with it. I really didn't want it to end. So good. :(

As for my favourite episode, I'd probably have to say War Stories. It was so good and kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. And River is awesome. :sigh:

I just watched Serenity last night, and it was amazing. Poor Wash. :( And I'm glad Kaylee and Simon finally got together. And River is co-pilot!!! I absolutely loved that. :D

Well, after reading this thread, I may very well need to dust off my DVDs...

Tonight I went out and bought the Bluray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack of Serenity. :sigh:

Mal Reynolds and how each of his crew members represented a part of his character which was missing. I thought that was a brilliant insight on Nathan's part! :love:

Yes! The Science Channel is airing an hour tribute/reunion special on Nov. 11th with those who showed up to the 10 year reunion Firefly panel at Comic Con this summer (Nathan, Adam, Summer, Alan, Sean, Tim M., & Jose M.). ;) I can't WAIT to see it! :yay: :yay:
