Hi,

I remember a movie where there is a babarian character and late in the movie the band of heros gets help from a one eyed giant. The one eye giant helps open up a rock door to an internal cavern.

When the heros escape the one eye giant sacrefices himself by keeping the opening open for the heros to escape. The one eyed giant is squashed.

I also remember that someone fortold that the one eyed giant would die.

Does anyone remember what the movie was called ?

It's called "Krull", I just watched that movie the other day.

It's not a bad movie, I was up late and nothing else was on, and I was just sort of absently watching it from about halfway through... but I actually got sucked in. It's a little cheesy and the effects aren't that great, because it's like 20+ years old, but it's a fun mix of sci-fi/fantasy. Oh and the barbarian (if he's the one I think you mean) is played by Liam Neeson. I was surprised to see him in it.

We just discussed this movie at work the other day. Absolutely fabulous for it's day an age, especially the story.

That used to be my favorite movie when I was younger and then I just saw it again the other day on Starz. Ken Marshall was way hot in that.

It's one of those movies that's kind of cheasy But something about the movie keeps me watching it!

But my fav scene of all? When the guys are trying to capture and ride the Clydesdales (or Fire Mares).
