I thought it was ok. I didn't love it, that's for sure. I liked Tin Man better than Alice, but maybe that's because I'm such a huge Alice fan in general, so it was harder to watch all the changes they made.

It'll be interesting to see if Tim Burton's movie is more satisfying to a hardcore fan like me. ;) I do like Alice stories that deviate from the source material. I love The Looking Glass Wars trilogy. Any other Alice fans read those books?

i hope so to ok do you have a favorite part from Alice

I do like the first scene between Alice and Jack as well as the last scene between Alice and Hatter. Though a favorite is the scene with the skeleton army and Charlie. How about yourself?

I haven't read those books I should look them up.

I couldn't help but swoon and be happy when Hatter showed up at the end and the "finally" from Alice when she hugged him. So sweet!

I enjoyed watching it, I know they won't but I'd love to see it turned into a series.
I kind of wanted more screen time for caterpillar.
I also really liked the opening scene alicexjack
I thought Charlie was brillient
I found alice's run rather amusing

In the end, it was a really good mini-series! Very well-done and enjoyable.

I loved it so much! I thought the couples they put together were great. I couldn't have asked for a better ending. Him being the first to find her and then coming back for her.

I have a question did the Disney cartoon version of Alice satisfy you as a hardcore fan

I just watched the miniseries over the past couple of days, and I completely loved it. It was fun to see how they incorporated the completely nonsensical parts of Alice in Wonderland and updated them to fit into our world. It was cool to see the characters humanized, and the fact that the Cheshire cat was actually a cat - and still creepy as all hell - was so well done. This show is a definite fave

I agree with everything you just said

I loved the mini series. Everything was really well done. The special effects, and just how Wonderland looked in general.
I loved Hatter and Alice. And the ending. I was so happy he found her in the real world. :)

 I've rewatched that end scene between Alice and Hatter so many times :in_love:

Completely agree. I loved the updated version of Wonderland (or the parts that they showed)... it was well thought out... although it became rushed in the last 15 minutes.

And the ending... is . Just great.

PS There is an Alice/Hatter thread on the couples board for you A/H shippers. :D:D

I was so disappointed - they are reairing Alice tonight, and I came in half way throug. I wanted to rewatch the entire thing. But then they made my night by replaying it immediately after, so I'm able to PVR the whole thing, and rewatch in good quality to my hearts content until the release of the DVD :D
