Howdy.
 I'm Dan, 29, Norway. Used to post here way back when the board started, then stopped for some reason, and am now trying to get back into the swing of things again. So hey all. __________________
I think we should reinstate wonder, and banish expectations.

Hey, I'm Amy. I actively avoided news for most of my life, but over the last month or so I'm really paying a lot more attention to the world. (Although on a more active/cautionary sense) Anyway, I'm 24 and am British Columbian. I'm really passionate and idealistic (I'm a realist in regular situations, but more idealist with where I'd like things to go), so I could never watch news because of how irate it'd make me... but now I'm starting to see that every body needs to realize that they do have a voice and that we can make change. __________________

Hi Amy! Glad to see you here. I'm Sunny. I'm the mod here. I know where you're coming from. It's really confronting when you start considering all the issues that are out there. The good news is... well, there's a lot of good news. For one thing, no one here is required to be an expert at anything. It's just about sharing your opinion and being respectful of one another in our differences (or that may just be my idealism coming through). For another, it's just nice to hear people with different opinions. __________________
