So, Shadow of the Colossus, as I've said, is a simple game, yet very deep and poetic. It is also quite a dark game, it's ending in particular is very sombre. It's a very unique experience and it's undoubtedly not a game to everyone's tastes. It's not a prolifically violent game however, like other more mainstream titles on the market, I'm very much against those types of realistically violent games. So if you are also not into such violent games, rest assured, Shadow of the Colossus is nothing like them. Also it's classed as a 12/T (for Teens) so it's relatively child friendly. Shadow of the Colossus is actually widespread considered a masterpiece by most players, and it pushed the limits of the PS2 when it originally came out in 2005. It was also re-released for the PS3 in 2011 with the textures remastered into HD.
So, you play as this warrior called Wander, who at the beginning cutscene of the game, travels on horseback to a forbidden land with the intent of saving a girl named Mono. He had heard stories of a being that resides in this forbidden land that can resurrect the dead, and wants this being to resurrect Mono. This being is known as Dormin. Dormin agrees to resurrect her, but only if Wander will do something for them in exchange. Dormin instructs Wander that there are 16 Colossal beings spread throughout the land, and he must defeat each of those Colossus. And that's where you start the game. You travel on your horse Agro, to each of these Colossi and defeat them, with only your sword and bow and arrow. They are essentially boss fights, and the only enemies in the game. The rest of the land is empty save a few birds, lizards, fish in the water and a few other animals. When I say Colossi, these bosses, they are as their name suggests, colossal in size. They are huge. When you fight one, it is an exhilarating experience like nothing else, and for each you have to climb on top of them in order to defeat them. That's as much as I can say about the game without going into too much detail, I think I already went into too much detail already. I'm actually more of a Nintendo player than Playstation, I love me some Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart, but I do have a few other game on PS4/PS3 that I absolutely adore. I was never into Sims. I used to play some PC games back when we had a PC, but those days are long gone now that I'm only using laptops. Anyways, here's a clip of Shadow of the Colossus for the PS4 __________________

^ It sounds like you have a lot of fun playing it, Liv. I wished I had the time to play. I guess Tom is the new game for me. But, I did play a lot of games on Sega when I was a kid. Mortal Kombat & Sonic & Stuff...
Thank you for explaining. I have never had play station or the new Xbox. |

It is awesome beyond words. Please do check it out!
It's a shame when games you loved are plugged from production. I've heard of Neopets. Never played it, but it sounds similar to tamagotchis. Remember those? I do have a lot of fun playing it, Fatima. I originally played the game on the PS3 a couple of years ago, having discovered it watching a let's play of it on youtube. Tom is a game!! Ah, so you were a Sega kid. I never had Sega. Though I was a big Sonic fan as a kid, used to love watching the cartoons and reading the comics, despite never playing the games. I don't always have a lot of time to play video games myself, I don't play a lot of them. Sometimes I go weeks without playing any, but recently there have been new releases that have got me hooked. As I mentioned, I'm a big Legend of Zelda fan, and I recently finished playing their most recent game, Breath of the Wild, which was released last year. You're welcome. __________________

Both. Bad for travelling, good news for the kids 'cause they get to stay at home and play in the snow instead of going to school. Bad for the parents. I love the snow. It makes everything look so pretty. Though it's not so good for the flowers, especially when it's supposed to be almost Spring. I took some pictures of my dog in the snow, and a friendly Robin.
We very rarely get such heavy snow in this part of the country, especially on the coast. The #BeastFromtheEast is really living up to it's name. Though the snow here is nowhere near as deep as it is in other places. South East and up North it is much worse. There have been numerous accidents on the roads, some people killed. So that's bad. It does create chaos for a country that's just not used to such severe conditions. Well, we have had many storms in the past, but not many snow storms. Oh, but there was that famous long winter in the 60's where it went on snowing well into Spring. __________________
