Seems that episode, "Zero" from season 1 is the first episode of Chloe investigation of Clark.

I actually forgot about it as well and it's probably because before the re-watch on Sunday, I only watched it once. But I totally forgot about that.

Chloe was so curious about Clark that she found out stuff about his adoption that he didn't even know.

and he told her he needed her as a friend, and they got into an argument and everything and of course eventually Chloe came to him at the barn and told him she was there as a friend not as a reporter.

However, the last scene of the episode is of Chloe not deleting the information on him, and she clicked save.

Zero was one of my least favourite episodes from S1. Why did she click save after what she said to Clark in the barn?!

It seems like her reporter brain got the best of her.

Which was why in Season 2, her jealousy finally pushed her to the edge to team up with Lionel.

I hate the way Lionel took advantage of her like that. Yes, it was Chloe's decision to go to him, but he made the deal, she didn't want to take it until she was pushed over the edge, like you say.

Lionel is who he is and Chloe jealous was just ridiculous. lol

I'm sorry. I could understand it a bit more of Clark was cheating on her but he wasn't.

He finally got the girl he always wanted, and sorry she had to find out like that but what's between Clark and Lana, is between them.

and it was pretty difficult for Clark and Lana to be happy with the guilt trip Chloe would play.

Working with Lionel because your crush was kissing someone else and didn't tell you about.

So, high school.... well they were in high school so.

Yeah, ok you do have a point there. Lionel is Lionel. And Chloe shouldn't have put such a guilt trip on Clark like that and went to Lionel just because she found out about Clark and Lana before they could tell her. But, like you pointed out, you sort of forget that they're still all only in high school. You forget they're actually only 15 in S2. Which brings me back to Lionel. He shouldn't be going to a 15 year old and bribing her with a chance write for the Daily Planet to get her to spy on Clark. She was feeling vulnerable and he took advantage of that.

Well yeah, I mean Tom was 24 when the show started and Clark was only meant to be 14.

Allison and Kristin were a few years younger, but yeah, it did make it hard to believe they were juniors in high school.

Well, if they cast actors who were younger and were the ages of the characters, would we have gotten the same storylines do you think?!
