I thought the same thing. This year they are trying hard to be positive and not show too many of the "no's". I am surprised though because sometimes after the judges to their critiques and you think no way this person is getting a golden ticket....they end up getting one. It also feels like J-Lo says yes to everyone.

Yes! They are way too nice. Harrys the only one thats been a little mean.

I feel like they are taking everyone with a good voice. They need to focus more on the 'star quality'.

Harrys critiquing of peoples 'runs' is driving me nuts though!

Hatchet Harry is great, very witty. There's definitely a different energy this year compared to all the Nikki/Mariah drama last season

I think there are a lot of great male singers this season

Star quality is a great way to put it. There is a big difference between someone who sounds great in a local band or in their church choir and a huge recording artist. Hopefully when they start weeding people out we will begin to see really talented people who you want to hear on the radio.

I think they might be cutting A LOT of people right away in Hollywood.

I know it's way to early to pick faves but I already have a few faves that i'll be really disappointed if they go out early in the Hollywood round.

I wonder what the new twist in Hollywood is? I would feel sorry for a contestant that spent money to go out there and didn't even get a chance to sing

I like it, but his other hair was like his signature hair that he's always had, but he still looks handsome, and as long as he has the accent, I'm good with it.

I'm pretty sure the show pays for them to fly to Hollywood.
