A new six-part series on the difficulties of love and dating in the outback, and the shortage of bush brides in regional Western Australia. For the series, over 70 bush bachelors signed up for some help to meet a potential partner, and over 1200 single British women, and 200 single Australian women applied to be matched to a bush bachelor. Over a weekend at a hotel in Perth, each bachelor dates three women before finally picking one to spend a month with him living and working the life of a bush sheila.
