I love Daredevil, but haven't read that manyof his stories. Of the ones I've read "man without fear" is probably my fav actually.

I haven't read the DD comics (actually a lot of the Marvel stuff anyway). So I'm curious. Have they been following at least the SL in the comics on the show or have they deviated from it already? I read the first DD comic came out in the 1960's. Whatever SL worked back then probably won't be as exciting as it nowadays. But the core characters of course is still around on the show.

I'm wondering how closely they've been following the comics, if at all.

So far (from what I've read), they've been following it along nicely. I also read comic readers like how the show is adapted well from the comics.

I think Urich is different? And Claire obviously.

^Yes I believe that's mostly what they changed from the comics.
I also don't read comics, neither from Marvel nor from DC, I would love to do so but whenever I try to find one, all the comics are from Superman or Batman and honestly I'm focused in other heroes/superheroes that for me are way more interesting, but it's just my opinion and also I'm saying this as someone who never read a comic! But I'll look for some of DD's comics, maybe I have luck and I find some...

Urich and Claire are different. They also changed Leland.

And yes Gina, same here. I don't read comics but I wish I had back when I was kid.

So I spent my an entire hour reading this yesterday. It's very interesting and again, be careful for spoilers on this one if you haven't seen the rest of the eps or do not want to read up about (possible) DD storylines in S2.

Daredevil Netflix Series: Marvel Universe Easter Eggs and Comic References Guide

I thought this was very in-depth and quite good. Mentions what the show changed or followed in the comics. It's narrowed down per ep so it's easier to recall. Would be good to take note of when we re-watch the eps soon.

I forgot to mention, that link is full of spoilers for what may or may not happen in S2.

I mean they changed a few things (like Ben and Claire), but in general it's been fairly faithful to the Man without fear stuff. And they really got the tone and personality of the characters right. All-in-all I think fans of the comics can be perfectly happy with the story.

That's what I heard too. The show has been faithful to the comics and if they changed something, it's not that big of a deal that comic fans are going to say "that's not possible".

Changes to the source text are always tricky, especially if you don't follow through with the change you make. (ie - Coulson in the Avengers/AoS)
