I thought Vondie was well-cast as Urich so it was sad that they killed the character early. I was hoping he'd be around in S2. :(

However, I am (kind of) glad that it's Fisk who killed him. I just thought he still had a lot of story to tell for S2 and killing him off was maybe for shock value. :(

I am still pretty salty that ben had to die. He was an important character. And he should have been more connected to Daredevil. Matt had basically zero connection to Urich when he died, meaning his death went pretty unnoticed.

Correct. It's probably my least favorite thing about the show, how his character was used on the show. So much potential now gone. :(

It felt like just a shock value thing, to show they could change the Marvel universe. But that's still meh to me, because Urich literally had the most potential to connect so many different threads all around. He was the one putting the puzzle together.

I agree Tammi. He connects to Spider-Man for starters. If they were going to kill off someone, I'm fine with Wesley. But Urich...? :nono:

then why in the world to kill him off too soon?!? So disappointing..

it was an unnecessary death on every level. And nobody cared that he died. Literally. Karen barely cared... she was more concerned about Fisk getting her for killing Wesley.
