Hodges is a favourite character of mine. I love his sucking up. He's the comedic relief and I love the blossoming relationship between him and Wendy. It's really sweet!

I have to say I really enjoy him a lot also...

He is great, and does provide a lot of comic relief. I love the episodes where he is being used for his special nose.

The writers have done alot to help with the softening of his character too... we're seeing his vulnerability and how he tries to hide it with his intellect

His intellect is his shield, his defences.

Like how some use comic relief to reflect negativity.

(or as in 'Blood Moon' butt in to the personal lives of his co-workers....)

I enjoy this character very much - his expressions are always funny!

Not to bring G/S in the thread, but you can feel how awkward Hodge is when Sara goes to kiss Grissom... his look of shock..
