CSI: "Mea Culpa" NEW! TONIGHT! (11/25) Spoiler warning

Ecklie goes on the war path and seperates graveyard shift! He promotes Catherine as swing-shift supervisor and forces her to take Nick and Warrick with her. Grissom, angered and frustrated, must deal with the switch and has no choice to bring Sofia from days onto his team.

:yay: for the new eppy. I still need to watch last weeks.... And I can take screencaps from last week's episode, too, if anyone wants any :D

Tina 11-26-2004 02:00 AM

This episode was great but a bit confusing. Grissom looked hot in that suit. :sigh:

There's no new episode next week? :look:

Mio 11-26-2004 02:02 AM

I don't know if there isn't a new episode next week. Maybe they're taking a break because this was November Sweeps afterall. So that would make it that we'll only have two new episodes in December- the 9th and 16th and it won't return until January.

It kinda was a boring episode, Ecklie was pissing me off as usual. The ending was sad, I nearly cried. I hope this doesn't last. They're so much better as a team.

GrissomRules 11-26-2004 03:03 AM

Didn't care for this ep. Not much going on except for the Ecklie crusade. Props to Sophie for standing up for Grissom at the end though.

I also hope this is a very temporary thing with the breakup. Sophie's mad, Grissom's mad, and Catherine won't be thrilled either I'm sure.

So what does the seperating of the team do for the show? They will still all be on the same episodes right? I think they should all plot the perfect murder against Ecklie..he's pure evil and he has very big teeth. :D

Lost in Translation 11-26-2004 04:38 AM

Okay, I was able to watch it and pay attention even though I was ready to kill for something salty (most preferably dill pickle chips, but meh. Don't have any.)
The Sara/Greg thing wasn't all that interesting. But once they showed Vartan, I shouted out "I am Damacles" (okay, Canadians and Americans who know their Canadian television: What show is that from? I'll give you a hint, it starred Rick Mercer and Peter Keleghan). Right, back onto the show...I was interested in how the fingerprint took forever to show up, but I guessed the son right away. Yeah, great mystery there, guys. Hmm, Ecklie...I wanted b!tch slap him throughout the episode. Well done  (This one's not sarcastic). Sophia...not so bad this time.

jBosco 11-26-2004 04:39 AM

:look: The episode was ok.....Ecklie was pissing me off the whole time :furious:

:star:I still hate Sophia. Even if she stood up for Gris. She is.....blah. :nono:

:star: I, too, hope this split up is temporary. :bawl:

SnickerDoodle99 11-26-2004 04:41 AM

This break up is so obviously temporary. I don't think TPTB are that stupid. Would they really have Cath, Nick and Warrick never again working with Grissom, Sara, and Greg? I don't think so.

Weird, I noticed that too. Mostly because I focused my attention on his teeth to avoid looking at his face. Because it scares me.

And what was with that Cath/Warrick/Nick scene talking about Eddie and all that. Was that supposed to be some lame attempt at YoBling?

I loved the scene at the end with the 3 guys. Almost like those classic breakfast scenes. It was nice to see Nick and Warrick talking to Grissom as a friend rather than a supervisor. Well I guess he wasn't their supervisor anymore anyway, but whatever.

And I like Sofia.

GrissomRules 11-26-2004 04:46 AM

Well after all the hoopla surrounding George and Jorja over the summer, one would hope they're not that stupid. It was probably a deal for sweeps. Now, we'll probably get a couple of eps in that format, then hopefully get things back to normal after Christmas. I think theres probably only two new eps in December. Maybe three.

Maybe they'll get together and throw Ecklie out a window, or at least get him canned.

Lost in Translation 11-26-2004 05:04 AM

Hey, they'd be able to commit a murder that's extremely close to being perfect...it wouldn't be perfect because there's no such nial. But they'd come pretty damn close.

Lady Sakura 11-26-2004 05:40 AM

I agree this episode wasn't all that exciting.

I think Ecklie is a total jerk and will get his comeuppance soon enough. What comes around, goes around.

I liked the last scene too, especially between Warrick and Grissom. Poor Gris he's not going to like all the changes and you can tell he doesn't know what to make of Sophia.

Bummer I was hoping for a preview!

Mio 11-26-2004 03:29 PM

CBS is re-airing this episode Monday at 12am.

SydneySummers 11-26-2004 03:56 PM

~*I thought the ep was good but I am not thrilled at all with Sophia. It seems to me that they are trying to push Sara in the background away from Gris in favor of her! Grrrrrrr!

abromokey 11-26-2004 04:06 PM

I enjoyed this episode becuase i really wanted to know why a pink print appears years later. Also I loved the ending how Warrick said he already found his purpose in his changing and I feel bad for Cathrine now she has absolute no time for her daughter now. Ecklie should die in a "mysterious" death. Well right now I'm forever hating that plastic bag that kept the print like a chamber causing the print to not to show up. Maybe there will be good that comes out of this change.
