If you mean Willow, it's hard to get over feelings like that so easily. I still have feelings for someone that I dated around five years ago. They don't just go away.

I think she had pretty much moved on from her feelings for Xander at that point too, she seemed perfectly happy with Oz - I think she just didn't know she'd moved on from those feelings & got confused. The whole thing with Xander made her realize that she wanted to be with Oz, & aside from her crying over Xander/Faith there was never a teeny tiny little hint that they might be romantic feelings between Xander & Willow on either side....

I just think it's a shame that the writers decided to put those feelings to bed in the way that they did....

It was such a key scene in their friendship as well

We hadn't seen them as close as they had been in earlier seasons

No, we definitely were due a scene like that

& I love that his way of saving her is rooted in his memories of who she really is, her at her core & no one else had known her long enough or well enough to be able to do that
