I was going to call this folder "The First Fang Gang" but then thought better of it. Not sure the best way to describe four beings who spend the 19th Century terrorzing Europe.

Well anyway, Since these three are the most well known of the Big Bads on Buffy and Angel, I decided to do one of them. I was going to do each one individually but decided that this was better. Not sure who was the leader of this gang. One would think that it may have been Darla but in the flashbacks, she is in the background while Angelous and Spike are the ones who seem to lead them to more "fun". Who was the most dangerous? Angelous was monstrous but Spike was daring. It was Spike who assassinated two Slayers whereas Angelous seemed to avoid them. Althought Angelous would have vamped Faith if she did not drug him saving herself.


Darla redeemed her soul, Angel and Spike have souls, that kind of leaves Drusilla left.


These four seemed to be like a family with Angelous and Darla as the "parents" Drusilla referred to Angelous as "daddy". So I guess that would make Drusilla and Spike their kids.

Its a twisted family since Drusilla slept with the demon who killed her family.

Well that is most of my file on these. Please add anything I did not.

Maybe they can be named "The Bloody Four". They sure did spill a lot of blood. I think Angelus was the leader. In some of the flashbacks in the previous seasons it could be said that he and Darla were more equals or her above him. But I think he really was the leader of their group. He's the one who lead Darla away from The Master.

And I think even if Spike was the one who killed two slayers, he still followed Angelus in a way. Like in that flashback of Why We Fight he pretty much listened to what 'Angelus' said in the sub. I think a big part of it was that Dru followed Angelus so he went along with it to be with her. Though don't get me wrong, I think Spike wasn't a complete follower and after he killed the first slayer he definitly seemed to be more of an equal of Angelus. They had the flashback in s2 of that scene and when he jumped up over that thing and landed he was equally walking with Angelus.

A Fanged Four Appreication folder sounds good. I just wanted to do a folder of them since we have more of an idea of them than any other big bad on "Buffy" or "Angel"

I really like Angelus's accent and manner back in the 'olden days', and the little family he kept together. Although Darla sired Angelus, I think he was truly the leader of the four and exercised more power than any other.

Thanks for the response. I was starting to think that it was a mistake to place it. Looking at those flashbacks, it does look like Angelous was the leader of the group.

They were kind of like the evil eqivilant of the Scoobies.
