I will just always love the parallel scenes from past to present in that scene even if it was heartbreaking.

Me too, both moments were so intense, & putting them together was just genius

& in one, it was Angel who ran away, & in the present it was Darla, I just find that juxtaposition interesting - even though, in both scenes, it was about Angel not being able to do what Darla wants

Darla sure did run away and the hilarious part about that is that Darla told him to not search for her again and he didn't last a week.

And he did believe in how strong their bond was... the bond he at times like to pretend wasn't as real to him as it was to her. lol Season 2 showed differently. lol
