TFTNT!

I really loved the first episode that season.

I loved bitchy Buffy.:lmao:

You're welcome

I love this season  This was when I really first got into the show

Yeah, I wouldn't call the season universally great, but it does have some really tremendous episodes. Passion shocked me

School Hard is my favourite season two episode. I was already addicted to Buffy after season one, but season two completely sucked me in and then with season 3 I was a lost cause and so obsessed. :sigh:

Passion broke my heart so much :broken_heart:

The early part of the Season still has that Season 1 vibe to it, but at the same time, it's vastly improved. They establish the new characters of Spike and Drusilla fairly early on, and it's done in a great way.

And as always, Willow is the cutest little thing ever :sigh:  :sigh:

I loved the Dru and Spike introduction. I fell in love with both of them immediately!

As soon as I saw them, I knew this show was about to get a lot more interesting

Yeah. Correct thread. Very happy.

Today I am watching "When she was bad", "Some assembly required", "School Hard" and "Inca Mummy Girl".

I've always felt the early half of Season 2 still felt a lot like Season 1  I don't know if they wrote the episodes around the same time, but they all have that distinct Season 1 feeling.

I agree about early S2 still having a S1 vibe. This entire season gets major awesome points purely for the arrival of Spike and Drusilla, who I think really lifted the quality to another level. James and Juliet were fantastic onscreen together.

Once the Anointed One was gone, the show picked up

Oh, definitely. "Some Assembly Required", "Inca Mummy Girl", "Reptile Boy" and "The Dark Age" could all fit very well into season 1.

I finished "Reptile Boy", "Halloween" and "Lie To Me" today. Damn. Jason Behr was actually a talented young actor. It's too bad that he never really became a WB star. Roswell was okay.

"Lie to me" was fun, funny as well heartbreaking. It can only be a Whedon episode.

I've always felt the early episodes of Season 2 are under-appreciated by fans

Becoming Part 1 and 2, Passion, Innocence, Surprise, I only have eyes for you.....Those are some of the best Buffy episodes ever.

Some fans :look:

Today I finished "The Dark Age" and "What's my line" part 1 and 2.

The thing I loved about "The Dark Age" is that it was a Giles episode. I love Giles. Give me more Giles. The thing I hated about the episode was the demon. It was stupid. Why did the characteristics of the demon change so much? It's dumb and then it's smart? It's a virus but then it's a murderer? What gives? I also really liked Willow, Xander and Cordelia in the library. Those three crack me up. Everytime. "Get the hell out of my library". Willow, be still my heart.

"What's my line" part 1 and 2 are okay. The bug-guy was creepy but the rest were meh. Finally, Cordelia and Xander kiss. Buffy and Angel are too cute. I was never so keen on Kendra. Believe it or not, I have never hated (and will never hate) a Buffy character. I like Kendra. She's fine. She is no Faith, though. Drusilla at the end was one of my favourite scenes. Go Dru!
