Well, that's not the reason people stopped showing up. This was one of my favorite boards on the site, but things took a turn for the worse about a year ago and it wasn't as much fun to post anymore. It's a shame this board is like a graveyard now but this easily could of been prevented. It was fun while it lasted *shrugs*

I think sometimes some people can get used to seeing only their own viewpoint expressed and then can't take it when a different viewpoint is expressed. 20 years ago this board welcomed a wide range of views, Spuffy, B/A, etc, and allowed a considerable amount of criticism, and nobody felt the need to leave because of it. People nowadays are too sensitive.

Yeah, that's good. What we need on this board is tolerance of different viewpoints and fan groups. I draw the line at extreme bashing (like going on about how a particular ship is sick, disgusting, perverted, etc), but legit criticism is an important part of being a fan.
