I admit that when I first saw that scene I was like... HUH??? So I loved that it wasn't a true story. lol

Me too, especially as it seems like something we would have had a hint of before :nod: :lol:

& Fred seeing through it was awesome, she just got Spike from the beginning & always knew when he wasn't being completely honest :lol: :love:

Yeah, that looked like that literally came out of nowhere. lol So thankfully it wasn't true and Fred wasn't that dense. lol

But yep, I love how she saw straight through him.

It was like when she told Angel that she knew Spike was playing her with the flirty looks :nod:

Their friendship was wonderful!

It was one of the best things about s5 :nod: :sigh:

Right from the beginning I knew their relationship was going to be one of the reasons I wanted to watch this season.
