Cordy wishes upon a Leprechaun for Angel to let loose and have a good time on St. Patrick's Day but ends up in the past with the wrong (or perhaps right) Angel.

Jenny Calendar's so-called modernization of the curse is a massive misfire because when Willow casts it, instead of re-ensouling Angelus, it physically replaces him with Liam who was plucked from the moment of his turn in 1753.
With Buffy MIA because unaware of the error, she still runs away, Cordelia takes this very human and unevolved version of Angel into her care.

This is the one that is unfinished.

Sad the second one is unfinished as it sounds just like the kind of Liam/Cordy fic I'm dying to read haha.

I'm almost tempted to try writing one but I'd have to research his time period so much and that's very intimidating *Giles voice* Dear lord.

Some little things from the moment above^
-"Who is it?" "It's me." He doesn't say 'It's Angel.' He assumes she'll recognize him by voice. <3
-She is immediately genuinely concerned because he looks a little beat up <3 'Are you okay?' Bruises can't kill a vampire but she's always taken care of and been worried about his every scrap and bruise. <3
-His vulnerability in the third gif. He seems embarrassed - like he's ashamed of the 'vamps need an invite' rule because it's a reminder that he's not human. Likening this to his moment in Sense & Sensitivity when he doesn't want to vamp out because he says they "withdraw when he goes vamp". He hasn't realized she accepts him in all his vampness yet.
-The "you promise you'll stay good?" and him deadpanning her name in warning...they are literally the embodiment of the 'the sunshine one and the broody one' trope. THESE TWO, Y'ALL.

We see her drop down to see if he is okay


Cordy still looking at Angel (possibly confirming to herself again he's really okay?)

This takes place AFTER she already knows he's a vampire, so despite her backing off after finding out he is one, we see she did still care for him in some way.
