That is the almost the same as I was thinking. Without the rape part. And I hate ship battles too, because I am very protective over Cangel. Let's say, both relationship are unique. Each relation ship in this own particular way.

I love the scene with Angel and when he said "I don't Dance!" I looked up what the name of the episode is it's from episode 13, "She" season 1.

I would have liked to see some scenes differently as example in "You're Welcome"

"And that's the guy I fell in—"
( stops herself and looks down trying to rethink, what she wanted to say)
"That, um... the guy I knew."

As I watched this, I was like: Come on Cordy, please just say it. We all know, what you wanted to say.

Which episodes would you have liked to see with a differently end/change?

I felt exactly the same about that line in YW.
During that seemingly long pause my brain was shouting:
"SAY IT CORDY! COME ON DAMN IT SAY IT!"

"That, um... the guy I knew."

My brain: GAAAAAAAH WHY?!

I was hoping that Angel would have said something like: "What did you wanted to say?" And don't let it easily going. I think it's just a shipper wishing.

Except he was afraid to love her because all those he loves are destroyed and in this case, he might have been unconvinced that her return was real, that he wasn't dreaming.

Remember:

Cordy: Guess we missed our chance huh?
Angel: Maybe we were meant to.
I don't believe that personally, I believe Skip and Jasmine were an interference in their destiny.

Fortunately, she ends up doing better than saying it.

LOL That is making me think of the BTVS episode When She Was Bad when Cordy is trying to get a rise out of Buffy and says "Maybe I see if Angel feels like dancing."
Imagine if Cordy did ask Angel for that dance and *this* was how he danced? Do you think her crush on him would've ended right there?

Didn't she ask him to dance but got interrupted before he answered or was it before she got a chance to ask?
I really could use a BTVS refresher. I just don't know if I can handle B/A.

Anyway, with BTVS Cordy, I know she would have been embarrassed if Xander ever did that dance with her but the significant difference is that for Angel, it would have been more surprising so she might have appreciated it. Plus Angel makes it so much hotter than Xander would.
