I liked these two, even though I was never a Gunn fan, and I thought Gwen could have done better. but somehow, it still worked for me.

Me too. I felt like it worked because I didn't hate Gunn when they were together, I wouldn't have minded seeing them around more.

I mostly liked Gunn in general, but ITA that his relationship with Gwen brought out the best in him. She brought out his fun side, which kind of got lost in all the Wes/Fred/Gunn drama.
