I think I'll always feel that way, it was so obvious that the writers still had a lot more of the story to tell.

Me too, they really did have chemistry! I think both in terms of Fred/Spike & Illyria/Spike imo.

I agree! I was surprised by their chemistry right off the bait! I noticed it right away, and then they had a scene at the ending of episode 5.02 I think and I was like, bring on more scenes!!!

And I just loved Spike scenes with Fred and Illyria.

Me too, that scene at the end of 5x02 was really special! I thought that they were going to go somewhere with them, & I loved their friendship

I really didn't know what to think. I was surprised I was loving the chemistry between them but I couldn't wait for more.

Illyria/Spike relationship on the other hand, was a very intriguing one for me to watch.
