ha! I don't know - I'm not sure I'll manage to finsih s6 tbh, it's very different rewriting a season that is already there to making one up from scratch. I guess I'll see if all the people who read seasons 1-5 come back for 6 and if there's any interest in a 7.

I already married Doyle and Cordy off though (to each other - just to be clear) so there's not masses left to do with them as a couple, because I'm certainly not breaking them up now! They're just sort of boring and married - which is adorable and absolutely what they deserved ... but doesn't necessarily make for a great story.

I love when he rescues her from the vampire and asks if she's OK - and then the next day when he's acting it out and she walks in on him!

or maybe when they first walk into her apartment and she says 'have you ever seen anything so beautiful in your whole life?' and he says 'nope - never' - but he's looking at her! <fangirl hyperventilation>

But there's some little moments that aren't on screen but must be a thing that are really cute. Like when he goes to celebrate with a drink down at the pub (gem of amara) and walks off without saying anything to Cordy - and Cordy just assumes she's invited THEY MUST HAVE BEEN GOING OUT AFTER WORK TOGETHER ALL THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! why else would she assume she was going along with him?

And when they give the house warming present (it's a cactus) Jane Espenson said she chose that because it's prickly - like Cordelia. But even though it's Angel who hands the present over, Doyle must be the one who bought it because Angel can't go out in the sunshine. I just love the thought of Doyle going shopping for a housewarming gift for Cordy and choosing the cactus, because it's prickly like her personality and green with blue spikes like his face ❤

Not likely - Doyle's infertility (based on the science of mules and ligers and other hybrids being sterile) is a big part of season 3 and a huge driving point of the Connor story line. I intended one day for them to adopt (originally I was going to write a present day ending as an epilogue, but then 2020 turned into 2020 and ... no one wants to read about Angel's manic hand washing regime and how none of them can leave the hotel) - but not when Cordy's only 23!

oh what might have been! That stupid cailiff demon - ruining everything.

I love how Angel tries to cut her off from comforting Doyle 'OK I think you've cheered us up enough'.

I like when D and C are down in the apartment guarding Melissa and he somehow ends up quoting Barbra Streisand until she makes him shut up 😂
And earlier when she is fixing his collar 💕 that's the beginning of her needlessly touching him phase - a sure sign that she is falling hard.

Those are fun moments, she really freaked him out there - usually he wouldn't mind her fixing his collar at all!

yeah he certainly doesn't mind at the end of the episode when she touches him about a thousand times as they leave the office (seriously - watch it, she can't keep her hands off him 💕💕💕) but he jumps about a foot in the air when she fixes his collar. Not the time Cordy! 😂

I think so too, it would have been a lot of fun to watch! She would have complained about everything & he would have given as good as he got, but would have been really sweet to her too & would have eventually softened her
