1) Because it changes the lives of all who watch it
2) Because it has the wittiest lines of any TV show ever.
3) Because of the crazy love triangles!
4) It's got amazing, complex characters where no one is perfect, even Tara.
5) Chick power, yay! Nuff' said.
6) Because of the awesome fight scenes
7) Where it's cool to be different.
8) Because vampires have never been so sexy.
9) Because it has the greatest villains ever!
10) Because the actors are so hot.
11) Because in this universe, death is rarely final.
12) Because it has THE best couples.
13) Because the fans rock.
14) Because even when we hated a storyline, we couldn't stop watching.
15) Because being in highschool, is like living on a hellmouth.
16) Because the world would have been doomed, if it weren't for the scooby gang.
17) Because Buffy saved the world...a lot.
18) Because there hasn't been a new episode in 4 years, yet people still have things to say about it.
19) Because it has the best Musical episode out of all TV shows.
20) Because the creators were continuity conscious.
21) Because the writer's used monsters as metaphors for real life experiences.
22) Because you could relate to the characters.
23) Because we're still desperately wanting an 8th season!

I think we should only have general reasons on the list and not those pertaining to specific characters, I don't want this to turn into a "Let's see how many times I can get my favourite character on the list" competition. I'm not saying that the people who have posted here already are doing that, I can just see it happening.

I've changed a few of the most recent ones and added them to the list. I hope this is ok with everyone.
