Moments that Made you Laugh
we have a hugely popular crying-moment thread here which is almost to the end. Buffy is clearly a very cryworthy show. But it has its fair share of comic relief too. What are your favorite Buffy jokes and fun sequences?

One of Buffy's many strengths was in it's witty dialogue. That was usually the most entertaining...
I'll post some when I have more time. Good idea for a thread, though. __________________

Giles, Anya, Xander and spike always made me laugh!
I love Giles' reaction to things and especially when he tries to do hallowe'en. Anya was funny cos she's a stranger to the human world and some of Spikes lines were hilariouse especially when he say something about killing demons for the sake of puppies and christmas LOL! Xander was just hilarious and lovable. |

Whenever Giles & Anya fight. They're always hilarious. Especially in Bargaining when they're fighting over that statue.

One that jumps to mind off the top of my head:
In 'Becoming, Part 2' when Angelus is showing Spike the rock that contains Acathla and Spike replies : "...I can't wait to tell my friends. They don't have a rock this big." One of the funniest episodes hands down has got to be 'Once More, With Feeling', though. I was laughing pretty much the whole way through it, except for the obviously non-funny moments  __________________

I think it's fair to say that every episode written by Jane Espenson are dead on funny!
Of course the other writers had funny stuff too in their episodes, it's just that she kind of stands out in comedy. It's her thing you know. __________________

IMO he have a way of going to much on the sad and angsty to be really funny. I think he's the only one who has presented meant-to-be jokes which made me sad

The best funny moments on BTVS for me anyway was in Pangs when the Native American ghost turns into a bear and Spike's reaction was just priceless. Anya dressing up in a big bunny suit when she really afraid of bunnies just a hoot. Giles singing in Yoko Factor then utterely stops at stand still when Spike comes into. Pre-Angel when Wesley in Dogglerganger screams like a girl after he stops vamp willow from killing Cordy. Then Cordy putting her hand of the back of Wesley then just screams like a girl had me rolling tears of laughter.
