How about Faith on both of them in a threesome? ;)

I actually preferred her on Angel. I didn't think she fit in with Buffy's Scooby gang. Also, two slayers on one show is one too many.

She was too immature on Buffy

THE SAME WAY I FELT!

I felt if Eliza signed on full time to any show then I would've preferred it had been Angel because I actually feel their could've been a chance for her to grow a real bound with the characters. On Buffy I always felt it as "Buffy friends" I never saw or viewed Willow, Giles or Xander as true people she can confide in or be friends with. Just from her season 4 episodes I can see her having an interesting dynamic with Connor with putting him in place. That interesting dynamic with Wesley. Her and Fred would've been very interesting and her and Gunn already seemed to hit it off very quickly. We all know she already had a wonderful relationship with Angel.

So it was a perfect fit for her with the Angel gang.

Yeah, she worked well with the Angel gang. But it also counts that she was portrayed much more positively on ATS. As soon as she switches to season 7 of BTVS she becomes a more cynical, nasty, resentful figure. She's portrayed totally differently on the two shows.

She’s more cynical because of where she is and who’s she’s interacting with. Those are the people she wronged and been wronged by

Glad you agree with me, Tia! :) You too, Rita!

She wronged both Angel and Wesley too. She's more cynical because they take a different attitude towards her when writing BTVS. The same happens with Buffy on ATS -she comes off totally different.

Well, I just felt that Faith had burned too many bridges in Sunnydale to be able to fit into that group. Angel's group is better for castaways.

wickedrum 05-15-2024 12:27 PM

yes cause Angel's group was all about the idea of redemption.

sum1 05-16-2024 06:25 AM

I thought they were about being depressed.

wickedrum 05-17-2024 12:15 PM

 that too

PhoenixRising 05-18-2024 05:44 PM

Yeah, Angel's group was always kind of down on themselves a lot.

Must have been listening to the opening credits music. ;)

PhoenixRising 05-19-2024 08:48 PM

Well, they could've used Nerf Herder. :P

Also, I could never figure out why the opening credits theme music for Angel was not music from the actual show. We know what Angel's theme music on the show was. It was that big, soaring, operatic, "Batman-style" music we heard after he saved those two women in the alley from vampires in the pilot episode. But that music never became the opening credits music. Instead, they came up with some musical intro that was completely removed from the music featured in the episodes. Strange. Buffy's theme music in the opening credits was always her theme music on the show as well.

Angel's theme is at the 3:00 minute mark.

wickedrum 05-20-2024 05:28 PM

Either way, I love that intro music
