They really do, & they both got the creepy tone in their scenes just right, I can't imagine many acting pairs would be able to do that!

Spike & Dru were the fresh blood BTVS desperately needed. Compare the S1 vamps (cheesy, boring, forgettable) to them. They were part of what helped catapult the show into greatness.
