Hey guys I thought this would be fun. Who's your favorite character and why do you like him or her? This could be a main character or a guest star or a recurring character.

Mine would have to be Fred. Mainly because I can relate to her because I can be shy sometimes and i tend to stay to myself. I'm not nerdy like her or anything but I also like her storyline and how they brought her onto the show. She's a good addition to it.

Wow this is tough. It's definitely between Wes and Fred. I think they're both my favourite characters. Wesley, I just love him so much. We got to see him grow, and change so much. I felt more connected to him than any other character. When Wes was feeling pain, so was I. I also love Fred though. I suppose I'm like her too. I'm also quite shy, and spend more time in my room than any place else. Also, she's just such a great character. She brought a lot to the show. I don't like the episodes before she came on the show as well as the one's when she's there. I just think having her there made a huge difference.

Without a doubt Wesley. We have seen him grow so much since his beginings on BTVS. Alexis played Wes to perfection. Really made the role his own and brought a true sense of realisim to him. Thats, why Wes will always be my favorite. A great combination of character development and acting.

Wesley, without a doubt. He underwent the most character development of any character on the series, and made it believable. I could rant on for hours about my Wesleylove but I'll leave it at that.

Am I the only one who wasn't a big Wesley fan? He's great, but not my favorite. And I didn't care for him too much in Season 5. I miss old school Wes.

I have three favorite characters: Doyle, Angel, and Lindsey.

Doyle -- Best Whedonverse character created, IMO. I adored him. His character touched me so much in the few episodes he was with us. He made me laugh and cry, and I wanted nothing more than for him to get the girl (Cordy, of course). He had so many layers that I wish had been more developed. This character had so much potential. Glenn was such a fantastic actor.

Angel -- I was never an Angel fan when he was on BtVS. I thought his character was so dull. But then he has his own show and I'm completely blown away... I realized that this character was more than just Buffy's shadow. Angel developed so much and I think David really grew into the role. I loved all of the little quirks he brought to the character and in the end, no one could have pulled off Angel like David did.

Lindsey -- The morally ambiguous, redeemable but still a bad ass, character. Every show needs one. And Lindsey was perfect. I'm disappointed by his outcome--I really thought he had a chance to redeem himself, but oh well. I loved this character and Chris Kane is gorgeous.

A brilliant storyline packed with Julie Benz's amazing performance makes this character one of the most gripping of the series and I loved her!

Fred,
I just find her adorable!

A complete bitch but a great one at that!

Wesley - Just a brilliant, compelling and intriging character. Wesley is just grown in stature over the years. Battling emotions that had for what is right and wrong and also for Fred. Alexis just acted his socks off over the 5 years.

A truly wonderful character, not only in the Buffy universe, but throughout televison.

Fred - can identify with her as she was shy to start off with, but gradullay came out of her shell and we got to see a new side of her. Great character

Lorne - lovely character, had great humour when it was needed.

Wes because I start to watch Angel because of him. I didn't like Angel so much but I watched because of Wesley. Plus, Season 01 goofy Wes remember me a little especially when he falls down all the time. *giggles*

Fred because she is so adorable, shy, talking non stop and a little bit crazy. I love crazy characters

Illyria because she is so cool. I love the way she talks, her powers and the relationship she develop with Wes.

Lorne is so funny, adorable and i love his sarcastics lines ! He totally rocks !

Agreed. That's why Wesley is my favorite. And he's the reason I started to watch Angel to begin with. A very close second is Fred. I liked Fred because she was crazy and put a new view/voice to the Angel story.

My fave character is Cordelia. Season 5 wasn't the same without her humorous relief every week.

Wesley, because he was just so interesting. I really enjoyed seeing the different "types" of Wes, and I actually liked them all.

I would pick Angel and Spike. (hehe hard to guess from my name, right? lol)

I really loved both of these character. Two vamps w/ souls redeeming themselves. They both have gone through phases and transitions over the years. They both know about love, loss, sacrifice, and fighting for the good. They also both know what its like to be on the dark side. I think there is a lot of depth in these two characters. So much story!

All the characters over the years have been great though. This show has had a few cast changes, and I really can't choose a favorite overall cast. I think each cast, and each season brought something different to the show. Cordy, Doyle, Wes, Fred, Gunn, Spike, Connor, and Lorne were all a great supporting cast, and made each season fun.
