She's not, poor Faith for having to deal with it most of the time in the comics.

She encourages him but he never breaks out of his misery, even when he does Connor re-enters his life which brings back some old wounds.

It's just interesting to see the roles reversed for them. It seems like Faith is the one who always needs to uplift Angel. Although there was a small point I posted of Angel being the one to (again) make Faith keeping fighting.

And it's when Dru was in the series.

That is good that their roles have been kinda reversed, because it proves that they are equals, now she can help him like he helped her

Yeah. I was just reading some Angel/Faith moments, all the angst is too hard on me.

Faith really is Angel ride or die girl... also Faith isn't happy with how wimpy she's turned since she's been around Angel.

Angel is sort of bringing the very different side out of Faith... lol However, she is choosing him over anything at this point.

She even had a flashback of when she's loyal to someone she goes all the way, at the expense of herself. Sort of reminds me of her loyalty to the Major in a sense. She would do anything for him even if it wasn't really the write thing.

Angel is just in a very dark place right now, more than usual.

She did curse him out a bit but they made up, and then again, and then they made up again.

Spike in the comics was very fun! Faith was so through with Spike and Angel's bickering and Spike told Faith about the chemistry they once shared and Faith told him she ain't sleeping with him and Spike told Faith that she use to be so much more fun and Faith said she's got so much mature.

I actually agree with Spike to an extent because I believe although Faith is the same, Angel has changed her to a bit of a more angsty person recently.
Angelus was disgusted with Faith loyalty to Angel.

For a bit Faith made Angel sad by saying she had to leave him for a bit and find herself.

He said he want her to be okay, like have a shelter or something but she said she has somewhere to go. She's gonna train some slayers and Angel said he'll always here whenever she returns.

So, yeah it seems I have a look of comic pages to post.

Wow, sounds like a lot has happened. How come Angel is in such a dark place atm?

& Faith saying she needs to leave Angel to find herself is so angsty - it almost seems like they're building up a romantic storyline for them....

It's basically Giles death that he is to blame for during the Twilight that happened in the Buffy comics that I did not read. Also Angelus is no longer an issue.
Angel main issue is his ongoing guilt.

If it's not one thing, it's something else. So, basically his guilt from killing Giles is driving him to do anything to bring Giles back to life...Angel was possessed at the time but of course he doesn't see it that way.

The reason he brought Faith on the trip to begin with is because he knew she was the only one who would keep it real with him and tell him when he's going far over the line.
After everything he's done for her, she had to join him in the mission.

This scene was painful for me.

This scene took place after Faith slayer friends broke of the friendship with Faith because of Faith lying for Angel.

It's so sad however, I feel bad for Angel as well because he's sort of in a no win situation and Faith will stay by Angel's side regardless of anything.

Basically Angel is handling a lot of things to the extreme at the expense of everything....

Isn't Giles alive again now, but he's a teenager or something?

Oh, sweet angst! I really wish we could actually see this scenes with David & Eliza!
