It sucked that they broke up there, but it was nice to see Angel putting Buffy's life first. I mean they couldn't risk him becoming Angelus again, so it was best that they would part ways while still being in each other's hearts.
 It's too bad that the Angel writers tried to invalidate that reason of Angel leaving LA to have him "fall in love" with Cordelia.  Cordelia and Angel are a product of forced interactions to keep his show running, because Cordelia didn't want anything to do with Angel after being turned down for Buffy and him turning evil. |
