Almeida's Army

Cuthbert was born in Calgary, Canada, the daughter of Patricia, a homemaker, and Kevin, an automotive design engineer. She has two younger siblings, Jonathan and Lee-Ann, and she grew up in Greenfield Park, near Montreal, Quebec. In 2000, she graduated from Centennial Regional High School and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career.

Cuthbert, who enjoys painting, is an ice hockey fan and Los Angeles Kings season-ticket holder. In 2005, she maintained a blog on the NHL website, though she did not post for most of the season. She was once involved romantically with then-Los Angeles Kings player Sean Avery, and she is now dating Dion Phaneuf of the Calgary Flames. Her relationship with the latter two hockey players turned into a minor scandal when her ex-boyfriend, Avery, told a Canadian reporter in December 2008, "I'm really happy to be back in Calgary. I love Canada and I just wanted to comment on how it's become a common thing for guys in the NHL to fall in love with my sloppy seconds, I don't know what that's about." Avery was suspended six games for the remarks, and was not invited to rejoin his team, the Dallas Stars, following his suspension.

Cuthbert regularly secures a place in FHM and Maxim's annual "hottest women" lists. Her highest ranking was #4 in the 2008 UK Edition of FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World list. She was ranked #14 in 2003, #10 in 2004, #5 in 2005, #22 in 2006, #10 in 2007 and #7 in 2009. The U.S. Edition ranked her #53 in 2003, #63 in 2004, and #54 in 2006. She was not listed in the U.S. 2005 list. Cuthbert was ranked #10 by AskMen.com readers in the list "Top 99 Women of 2007." Maxim named her #92 in its 2006 Hot 100 list, #6 in 2008, and #43 in 2009, and the magazine features her in its Girls of Maxim Gallery. As of 2006, Cuthbert has stated that she would refuse to be photographed nude in film roles or magazines and uses body doubles whenever necessary, specifying that she would "like to keep some things to herself."

Kim appeared towards the end of the seventh season. She makes her first appearance with Jack at the FBI in episode 18 of the season. Kim was brought there by Renee Walker and it was revealed that she had been trying to reach Jack all day and track him down for some time, but his constant moving made it impossible. Jack apologizes to her for causing her so much pain, and Kim apologizes to her father for pushing him away, and admitted that what she said to him the last time they talked was "stupid and immature" of her. Kim wants to donate stem cells in an attempt to save Jack's life from the effects of his exposure to the bio-weapon, but Jack refuses to put her at risk for his own life, and asks her to leave.

After leaving the FBI, she is seen talking with her husband Stephen who asks her if she told Jack about his granddaughter, Stephen and Kim's daughter, Teri. She answers negatively, explaining that she didn't want to cause Jack any more unnecessary pain. While waiting on a delayed flight, Kim notices a man she thinks is watching her. She asks a couple to check if the man is actually watching her, and they tell her he is not. It turns out the man watching her is an FBI agent sent by Jack Bauer to make sure Kim leaves D.C. safely. The man from the couple Kim is sitting with kills the FBI agent in the airport bathroom and takes his gun. He then uses his computer to show a live video feed of Kim which is then used as leverage to make Jack break Tony out of FBI custody.

Kim then receives a call from Agent Walker telling her of the terrorists sitting next to her. When the terrorists see the airport security coming, they take Kim hostage and start firing at the security and civilians alike. Kim stabs the person holding her in the leg with a pen and her captor gets shot. Kim then follows the other terrorist down the stairs. As she follows him, she meets up with two airport police, and they are suddenly ambushed. One of the Police is shot, but the other, although wounded, is able to shoot the terrorist in the throat, and his car crashes into a toll booth. Kim attempts to take the computer out of the car, but the terrorist uses his last reserve of strength to pull her arm into a fire. She escapes with the computer, but with a large burn on her right arm.

Reunited with the FBI, Kim gives the laptop to Renee and tells her to track the signal for where Tony is hiding. They are able to apprehend Tony moments before letting off a bomb placed on captive Bauer in an attempt to kill Alan Wilson, his pregnant wife's murderer.

As Jack slowly falls into a morphine induced coma, Kim arrives at the hospital and tells the doctors that she wants to donate stem cells to try to save her dying father. Season 7 ends with her telling Jack, "I'm not ready to let you go Daddy."

True, but he still saves loads of lives on a daily basis... still should feel pride on some level...

And if she was that against the job, she wouldn't have gotten a job at CTU...

The writers just made a mistake with that.
No way anyone can tell me that during S1 + S2, Kim was thinking about working in CTU.

Another good thing about little Teri is that it seems like she will grow up in a better life, since Kim isn't involved with CTU or anything.

I just would love if Jack could grow up with his granddaughter.
