Freddie James Prinze, Jr. (born March 8, 1976) is an American actor. He rose to fame during the late 1990s and early 2000s, after starring in several Hollywood films aimed at teenage audiences, I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), as well as She's All That (1999), Summer Catch (2001) and Scooby-Doo (2002). Prinze has also made appearances in television sitcoms, including Friends. He is a former member of World Wrestling Entertainment's creative team as the SmackDown brand writer.

Prinze was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Kathy Elaine Cochran (née Barber), a real estate agent, and Freddie Prinze, an actor and comedian,who killed himself in 1977 after Kathy had left him and had filed a restraining order against him. Prinze, Jr.'s father was of Puerto Rican and Hungarian Jewish descent. In a 1999 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Prinze, Jr. stated that his mother is of English, Irish and Native American ancestry (adding that "My grandma and grandpa, who raised me for the first few years, were straight-up English and Irish"); in a 2007 interview, however, Prinze, Jr. described his mother as coming from an Italian American family. Prinze, Jr. was raised Roman Catholic and embraces his Puerto Rican heritage.] He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spent summers in Puerto Rico,[6] where he learned about Spanish and Puerto Rican culture from his paternal grandmother.He speaks fluent Spanish and Italian. He showed an interest in acting from an early age and attended La Cueva High School in Albuquerque. After graduating in 1994, Prinze moved to Los Angeles to audition for television roles. In the mid-1990s, Prinze dated actress Kimberly McCullough for more than three years. He married actress Sarah Michelle Gellar on September 1, 2002, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, in southwest of Mexico. The couple met several years before, while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer, started dating in 2000 and were engaged in April 2001. Gellar played a small role in She's All That. In 2007, for their fifth year of marriage, Gellar legally changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze. He also enjoys tap dancing and collecting comic books. He is an avid soccer fan and supports Arsenal F.C., and is a fan of East Asian cinema. It was reported by People Magazine that Prinze and Gellar welcomed a daughter named Charlotte Grace Prinze, on September 19, 2009.

re added the photo of his father who was very famous rose to fame quickly in the 70's ,sadly due to drugs and pressure of fame, he Od on cocaine . Freddy never knew his father ,at that time very few top hispanic comedians ,the TV show was a major hit .

Matt, I know how OP's works ...Vicky does too and she didn't have a problem with it so chill. And it was no need for a solo picture of Freddie and Sarah since it was a updated one with the family. The stuff with the father can stay though. Happy you didn't mess up the OP too badly though

i feel there is nothing wrong with a solo photo of the couple .. We all work together .

As I said being the oldest one on the board ,it was important to add a small photo of his father . After all that is who he is named after . Only thing I added was 3 photos which , 2 of them got removed al I did was put them back. So lets play nice . I said you did great job on the center and indenting etc .

to many OP's on any board the text is way to small , not all of us are 18-20 have great vision .
