I agree. Advertise it as the two most wanted men in America, as if Jack and Tony were both at large in the US, that is exactly what it would be... like the Fox River 8 only there would just be two of them

It would be awesome though, for Jack to be on the run with Tony. I think, well know it'll be fun to watch. I want a story that will keep me interesting and I know for sure that will be it.

Question: Are you surprised when some people prefer Tony over Jack?

Well as well as wanting it to be accessible to new viewers in almost a reboot style fashion, I think the producers will want to reward fans for sticking with it and not giving up hope (Well I never gave up hope, I believe you did

) so I can see them bringing Tony, Chloe and Pierce as a way of rewarding the fans who kept the faith and if they did bring back Tony, I think that would be the best storyline as I love it when it is those two vs the world...

In answer to your question, yes and no. It doesn't surprise me as Tony is just really cool. He's the guy you'd most like to meet, and he's relatable and in many ways more human than Jack, and yet he can really kick ass too. Having said that, it does surprise me as the star of the show is Jack. Without Jack, there would be no show and he at time has carried the show (S8, S6 in places, S2 in places and Redemption). And he can drive a car through a wall with his head, who else can claim that?!

I surely did, I thought it was over and was accepting it. lol I didn't give up in a way where I didn't want it to return, but I accepted it was over.
To me the return is depending on where the show is the same or not... I don't know if it's S9, or a whole new generation... but I think having Tony back, automatically draws interest in those loyal viewers to come back.

I love your reasons for both. I agree that Jack is the star of the show... but I think with most shows, the star isn't always the favorite.. well Jack is the favorite though.

But yeah, there will always be disagreements.
For me I think it's just Tony attitude and how he's the only one who can go up against Jack, and get away with it... and actually I'll agree with Tony. I love the character building with him each season. It's always a new element to him each season.

But I always find the best shows have two great characters that are almost equally as popular and that have a great relationship with the other. Jack and Tony in 24, Michael and Lincoln in Prison Break, Denny Crane and Alan Shore in Boston Legal... they are my three favourite shows, largely due to the relationship between the two best characters on the show. So I think Jack and Tony as a pairing are just fantastic, and there's not much between the two, but Jack runs the show...

Funny you mention prison break , I am into The walking dead, Sara Wayne Callos was in 3 seasons .

Tim, I mainly love the complexity between Tony & Jack, you never know what to expect from their friendship... but when they are on the same side, they are on the same side.

Totally agree, and that's what I was saying before- I like it when a show has two strong characters with almost a brother-like relationship, where it can be caring but also volatile, often at the same time.

When you brought up Michael/Lincoln, I was thinking more of Michael/Surce in terms of being best friends like brothers like Tony/Jack. They always have each other's back when it count, eliminated S7 for Tony/Jack... and I'll see what happens in S4 of Prison Break.

Agreed with Tony! He handled things pretty well, I just love Tony. Of course my favorite character.
