ah thanks for this! I just saw the trailer and got excited.

still weird to not see Kiefer though

eternalfate 07-05-2016 01:35 PM

No Problemo, Tammi.

It is weird to not see him. Although for me I seriously consider this series more like a spinnoff over a continuation. lol

Did you complete the original series that Kiefer was in?

Almeida's Army 07-05-2016 05:03 PM

TFTNT... Wish it was for proper 24 though... I'm still not convinced I'll even watch it tbh... Still so let down...

eternalfate 07-05-2016 06:10 PM

I definitely will watch it. I am dedicated to 24, and will watch it regardless of my feelings. Also, I don't consider this a part of the 24 I'm use to so I'm good. lol
I see it as a spin-off which is why it's easy for me to go into this show with a fresh and clear mind.

Logan 07-05-2016 06:24 PM

Depending on the day time it airs , good chance I won't watch it when it airs. After the
SuperBowl I won't watch a new series only sports

eternalfate 07-05-2016 09:36 PM

Don't worry 24: Legacy, I will watch you!

It's been awhile since we chatted so of course I forgot.:lmao: Seems like you are fading away from :ff: :bawl: Or we aren't on the same boards anymore.:( What are the main boards you are on these days?

Also agree.

Logan 07-07-2016 02:11 PM

Today another article on the show saying the chances of seeing " jack" are not as good as previously mentioned . Howard Gorden said we have a better chance seeing other 24 cast members , then jack . Really want to push the new guy as the star .

eternalfate 07-07-2016 03:23 PM

I don't really pay attention to any of the articles mentioning Kiefer's return or lack of it anymore.:lmao:

Logan 07-07-2016 03:43 PM

Well it seems more then likely if we see Jack it will only be near the end of the season . But a better chance to see familiar faces on the show ..

i believe that the producers dont want the fans to think the new version will be full of faces we know, they want to push the new cast ..

eternalfate 07-07-2016 05:28 PM

Until I see it. I'll see this as a new show with no familiar faces.

Exactly. They flip-flop so much it's ridiculous.

'24: Legacy': 10 Burning Questions for Fox's Reboot
The Hollywood Reporter 7 hours ago

"Jack back"." Domestic terrorist Eddie Grant said these words with a big grin midway into the second episode of the second season of 24, right after Jack Bauer re-established his cover with Grant's group by presenting the severed head of a sworn enemy.

Of course, Bauer was still firmly on the right side of the law, if operating with some extreme moral flexibility... but that's all in a day's work, when the day involves foiling a plot to detonate a nuclear warhead on American soil. All the same, Grant's words rang true: there was absolutely no question that Bauer, and 24 as a show, was back in action.

Fifteen years after that 2002 episode, 24 will be back, but without Jack. Kiefer Sutherland's real-time rogue operative exited after the 2014 miniseries 24: Live Another Day, leaving the playing field wide open for an all-new hero. That's where 24: Legacy comes in. The rebooted version of Fox's fast-paced thriller sees new faces and new threats emerging, with the ticking clock counting down toward imminent disaster.

Before the midseason premiere, The Hollywood Reporter has ten questions about the return of 24.

Thanks for the link, Matt.:)

eternalfate 07-24-2016 02:01 PM

Happy for the confirmation that this isn't a reboot or a remake, as I already knew.
This world exist in the same world as Jack Bauer's 24, and he's still in a Russian prison. The writers just wanted the fans to get use to the new characters without being in Jack's shadow.

Here goes an interview with the new cast here, 24 Legacy EW

There is a 24: Solitary mention.... hmmm

Almeida's Army 07-25-2016 10:31 PM

Hmm.... I remain dubious

eternalfate 07-26-2016 12:14 PM

Well I loved the 24 format so I can't wait for it.:)
It's not like the original 24 has impressed me much once Season 6 hit.:lmao: So, I'm giving this 24: Legacy a chance.

Well considering it's another 12 episode stint, it's no longer the traditional 24 format. And the trailer didn't even look like 24, just another generic action series

Logan 07-26-2016 06:51 PM

Last weeks Comic Con coverage !

I dislike the non 24 episodes but when it comes to everything else. I'll give it a chance... and I know everything from the promo is from the first episode since the cast said they haven't filmed anything besides the stuff from the trailer yet... or something like that. lol They start filming again in September.

Thanks for posting all the news, Matt.:)

Almeida's Army 07-27-2016 07:31 PM

Thanks for the stuff Matt.

Still not happy

eternalfate 07-27-2016 08:39 PM

I'm okay.
Just waiting for the first episode.
