'24: Legacy': 10 Burning Questions for Fox's Reboot

"Jack back"." Domestic terrorist Eddie Grant said these words with a big grin midway into the second episode of the second season of 24, right after Jack Bauer re-established his cover with Grant's group by presenting the severed head of a sworn enemy.

Of course, Bauer was still firmly on the right side of the law, if operating with some extreme moral flexibility... but that's all in a day's work, when the day involves foiling a plot to detonate a nuclear warhead on American soil. All the same, Grant's words rang true: there was absolutely no question that Bauer, and 24 as a show, was back in action.

Fifteen years after that 2002 episode, 24 will be back, but without Jack. Kiefer Sutherland's real-time rogue operative exited after the 2014 miniseries 24: Live Another Day, leaving the playing field wide open for an all-new hero. That's where 24: Legacy comes in. The rebooted version of Fox's fast-paced thriller sees new faces and new threats emerging, with the ticking clock counting down toward imminent disaster.

Happy for the confirmation that this isn't a reboot or a remake, as I already knew.

This world exist in the same world as Jack Bauer's 24, and he's still in a Russian prison. The writers just wanted the fans to get use to the new characters without being in Jack's shadow.

Well I loved the 24 format so I can't wait for it.

It's not like the original 24 has impressed me much once Season 6 hit.

So, I'm giving this 24: Legacy a chance.

Well considering it's another 12 episode stint, it's no longer the traditional 24 format. And the trailer didn't even look like 24, just another generic action series

I dislike the non 24 episodes but when it comes to everything else. I'll give it a chance... and I know everything from the promo is from the first episode since the cast said they haven't filmed anything besides the stuff from the trailer yet... or something like that. lol They start filming again in September.
