Gelfling

Hey all

The numbers for February are up and they are not good. We are at the bottom of the rankings and we have been officially warned.







We came just shy of the minimum number of posts required to stay open so we can make it to next month but I guess I need to ask how people envision things at this point.

We're not missing much, just a couple more posts a day could do it.
I know the show has done its best to discourage any enthusiasm so if you can't post in the on-topic threads, the game threads and OT threads like the movie and tv club, or the OT threads are a good option.

However, if it's more work than you're willing to put into the board, I'll understand and I'd just like to now where we stand.

Honestly, two people posting 7 posts a day would be enough and I'm here until they close us down so I just need 7 posts to reply to

I have invested a lot in this board and even if the show is not what it used to be, the community still means a lot to me, more than most of you will ever know. I have made friends for life here, and more than that so I'll be here until they shut us down but I can't expect anyone to feel the same.

Let me know how you feel and I'll make a decision regarding voluntary closure in the coming week.

Feb was a hard month. But I can't really say is going to get much better. But we do have 10 episodes coming up. So I don't know maybe the numbers will go up.

Sadly with enthusiasm down all around this was bound to happen, and I take responsibility as well

I will be around more now that the show is back.

But open to opinions on what to do going forward.

We really only do need a few more posts a day to stay open.

At this point, it's more about the community than the show but I must admit I'd really like the board to at least stay on until the show ends.

I've never been a very regular poster, but it would be a pity to see the community (and record thereof) disappear. I guess Twitter and Tumbler have just taken over?

I guess it's a mix of things. I have never seen a show trying so hard to drive its fans away and yeah tumblr and twitter don't help.

I do believe that closed boards are archived and kept available in some measure but I have to look it up.

It would be a shame to have to close it down. Maybe it could stay open until the end of this season? I know I'll be watching Kalinda until she's gone.

Our CB forum died already, I hope it doesn't happen to this board too. I guess now that the show is back, maybe the nr of posts will grow. I'll try to participate more too, I know you've put so much effort into this forum, it would be a shame to see it closed before the show ends.

I visit the board on a daily base, even now when I am on a holiday, so I will be here untill the end. I would like this board to live on untill the series end or even after that if that's possible. I love the community, so it would be a waste to throw it all away. On my part I will try to post even more, even on days I feel like I have nothing to say. Hope we make it!
