Hm... Nah. Kids want to stay care-free forever. The problem is that reality checks are more painful the older you get before they happen. And if we did know different at that time, we'd probably be paralyzed by fear and stress.

I'm pragmatic romantic? I'm not a sap by any means. I'm not the girl who falls for all the mushy stuff. But a little appeciation is nice? I don't know :shrug: I'll get back to you'll on this when I'm in love.

Here's what I do know. It's easier to be a romantic with fictional characters than it is with reality. So much of 'romance' on tv would just grate in real life.

Depends on the situation. If I think it's a pointless situation, I'm not going to waste my time on it. I'm it's something I'm passionate about, if I'm being accused of something, or if I'm fighting for someone else, I go in guns blazing.

I'm cautious with my heart but adventurous with my life. At the end of the day, I'll only have me to depend on. I have to make sure to survive.

Seriously?! I was different then. I loved responsibility. I wanted to be given more things to do, to take charge more. The word care-free was not in my dictionary :P My idea of fun was happily planning the next school event.

I only have a few sea shells from places that mean a lot to me. Like the beach where we used to go with my grandfather as kids, where he found a fossilized sea mammal (that's now in a museum) and where we spread his ashes.

You know, I think when you're with someone you love and that person loves you back, the smallest most insignificant thing can be romantic. Sometimes even when that person is not trying to do anything romantic. It's just the little things again. Big bold gestures are fine for movies but in real life, romance is not about jumbotrons proposals or blasting cheesy music on the front lawn. Its about caring and showing that you care. Without trying, it's even better because it feels more genuine.

I'm the wrong person to answer that :lol: but maybe I answered already in my previous lines, I don't know. I think Hollywood and the Harlequin type books give "romance" a bad rap. I can get pink, very pink even :lol: but at the end of the day, what matters is what you feel and how you show it.

I don't like them. I am way too emotional to handle them well and I prefer discussing things rationally when possible. But if push comes to shove, I'll handle the conflict reluctantly but I won't back down. Especially when someone else is concerned. I can take a lot when I'm the only one at stake but when somebody else gets involved, or attacked... :nono:

No you don't :hug: you just need to let someone in. Easier said than done but it'll happen on its own. One day you'll just look around and there he/she will be.
