Yes, I found this very weird because I don’t think this helps the prosecution case. I think it actually shows that Karen really was upset that John was dying and this seems more like a genuine reaction of finding someone you love dying. I think he’s naïve enough to believe that Karen hysterical is showing her guilt. That’s the only thing I can come up with as to why he kept hitting on this with Jen.

The fact that the defense never objected once proves that they agree with you. It helped the defense not the prosecution.

Imagine how many jurors were thinking about how they would react if they were in Karen’s situation. And I am sure they found it bizarre that all basically Jen, Kerry and Matt were doing is telling her to shut up. At this point, that is because Kerry hasn’t testified yet. But as of right now, since we haven’t heard from her, she would be lumped in with Jen and Matt as far as reactions to Karen.

I honestly think that there are some people sucked into an energy vampire because they can be very charming and extremely manipulative. They know exactly how to suck people in. And I am sure one of her biggest things was getting John’s family to side with the Albert’s and McCabe’s, not Karen.

John, I have no idea how he didn’t see what she was. I guess she just showed a fake version of herself to him. Plus, I am sure that she was helping out with his niece and nephew (getting them places/the kids hanging out) so he could use the help and probably just went with it.

I am shocked that all these police officers could live in this city given the wealth. Police officers do not make that much money so how and the hell did they all live there?

The eastern United States and the western United States, both places are extremely expensive areas to live in. Around Boston and the New England states in general, extremely expensive. If I explained how expensive it is living where Angela is from, for example, around the Washington DC area compared to the Midwest in Minnesota it’s night and day.

I guess the Alberts just had influence in that city from day one and the parents built that home from the ground. But I still don’t understand how all the siblings have money owning a pizza restaurant, police officers, etc.

This is WAY DIFFERENT than how Jen McCabe comes across. Not that I think she’s attractive. But I just mean she’s obviously a confident woman and probably is overall pretty smart. It’s completely different though because she comes across as so egotistical and acts like she’s the smartest person in the room, I even think she was rolling her eyes at times due to what the judge was saying, she just thinks that she can get away with absolutely everything and what she says is gospel, and she can manipulate and get them to believe what she saying.

I haven’t seen 1 ounce of cross yet and I will bet money she will look to the jury and think that she’s controlling them. I will see if I am right, but that’s my prediction

I do think Kerry did not like Karen so yes there is that. I am just saying Kerry did not like Karen because she was close with John and was jealous of Karen IMO. Kerry however did care about John more than Jen. At least this is how I saw it. Kerry also said things that actually help the defense case and not the common wealth. She obviously did not like Karen but I also don’t think she lied the way the Alberts and McCabes did.

Well she said something weird on re-direct that made me a bit awry of John’s mother actually. Jen is Jen so she might have embellished stuff but basically even before Karen was arrested, there were conversations between John’s mother and Jen on checking facts and timeline so that they know what to say “when the time comes” (those are Jen’s words). So I don’t know I feel that John’s mother did not like Karen and did not need a lot of convincing to believe the McCabes and Alberts.

She did help with his niece yes so yeah it could be that. Still I would not want my child to spend time with that woman. It is dangerous .

You are in that group as well . And yes some men can be intimidated by smart women like us.

Jen is not an ugly woman. I actually think I can’t find her attractive because of her energy not because of her looks. I do find Karen more beautiful but that does not mean that Jen is not attractive at all. It is not her looks that is the issue here. It is her behavior and her energy and she comes access. She does not intimidate me, she annoys me because it is like let’s waste time to argue with the wall. She comes off as know it all and arrogant. Not as confident. She tries too much to be in control to come as confident. Confident people do not need this.

Well corruption that does lead to more money you know. So there is that.
