This was the very worst thing they could’ve done was overcharging Karen, and setting her up for a fall that she was not going to stand for. They did not expect her to get these attorneys, they thought that she would be screwed. I was reading about how she does have some money and that she’s been generous with her money over the years. I read that she’s given money to John’s family or friends (I forgot which one) when they needed it. I find it ironic that she was a giving person and thankfully she had the means to fight these charges. I don’t think they ever thought she would go there. I think they assumed she would take the first deal offered, and then they got pissed off when she rejected it, but they never imagined it would turn into what it is in the present. They are all being exposed.

Yes, they did not expect FBI investigation to give that kind of info to defense. 100 %. They did not see that coming. The weird thing is that when FBI turned over that data they told them to drop the charges and the district attorney refused. At that point they knew that defense has info that they will use against them. And they still decided to go ahead.

That’s all on Lally too since he had zero outline or theme in openings. Even if it was a weak case, you still needed to put up something for the jury to buy. They have nothing.

Now to be fair to them there are rumors that FBI turned over 3000 pages. I have seen it both 300 and 3000 pages. Don’t know which one is true. My idea is maybe back then they had not gone over everything FBI has given them. They should have though. That’s not an excuse nor it helps them right now. Honestly they became a joke. And it is not just for people in the state, it is not just national, people from other countries follow this trial and see this as a complete joke. And I am not saying it because of me. Just the YouTubers I watch have international following and people comment and mention where they are from.

It especially astounds me because I know this country. LE corruption happens everywhere and stuff but really bad mistakes typically do not take place in major major cities in the US. You expect this is in rural small cities and towns. Like Delphi and Idaho 4. You don’t expect this in a city 30 minutes from Boston, Massachusetts.

I thought the same but it seems people in Boston are aware about LE corruption because I saw comments saying something like “I am from here, we have been known for long time that our police is corrupt”. Apparently there was something around LE lying for overtime hours so that they get paid more. There is also another case currently where they have the same concerns and it seems also LE are involved and Kevin Albert is involved, Proctor was on that investigation as well but not lead investigator. It seems very deep.

I love how Colin remembers the fight with a club hockey team (due to jealousy over girls with them) and he remembers every detail.

Yet outside of remembering when he left supposedly with Allie the night of John’s death he has extreme amnesia on everything regarding John’s death before, during and after.

I love how Colin explains social media is coming at their family and has the nerve to claim they’re victims.

Defense had nothing else to say… I would’ve said if that’s true why does your entire family and the McCabe family have such amnesia about the moments leading up to John’s death and after John’s death? Why all the weird things like phones missing, butt dials, getting rid of a dog, home, retiring, and other things. You could help this situation if you would supply the right information instead of pointing more fingers your way as suspects. I would try to get out why social media finds the families guilty… it didn’t just appear out of thin air.
