I watched the episode last night, but I was distracted by nieces, so I'll have to watch again.

The first time that I ever saw Treat Williams it was in a movie that my father and I went to see called Prince of the City. He was fantastic in it.

I was listening to Sirius XM this morning and Dana Delany was on the segment called Playing Favorites on Siriusly Sinatra and she mentioned that Treat Williams was one of her old boyfriends and that they would fly cross-country in a small plane that he flew.

That is very cool!

I've never seen this version of Treat. This is when he was in Hair.

So is that show any good? I'll have to check it out!

It is, Jerry! It's wonderful. Matter of fact, it kind of reminds me of a combination of Everwood and season 1 Dawson's Creek. There's a romantic pairing that's very Dawson/Joey-like but an older version of them. They grew up together "on the water" in a beautiful area. They dated but the girl/woman left for NYC due to basically running away. Treat's character is a lot like Andy Brown... he means well but back in the day he was never around for his children, always working. The mother literally leaves the entire family and moves to NYC so the series starts with the children as adults dealing with their parents and they're all coming back together very slowly. The "Dawson/Joey" couple is slowly coming back together too but not without some roadblocks and obstacles. However, unlike Dawson's Creek, this show is definitely going the Ephram/Amy route and you know they will be together eventually for the long haul.

Even the music sounds very Everwood-like at times. Treat Williams is better than ever and the cast is Everwood-like... chemistry between all the characters, the acting is off the charts, writing, direction is superb. I really think you'd like the show. We all liked it immediately.

Chesapeake Shores | Hallmark Channel

The "Dawson/Joey/Ephram/Amy-like pairing"

This pairing is outstanding.

You're welcome! I hope that you check it out. I know your likes and dislikes when it comes to TV as a rule and I think you'll really enjoy this show. They don't make quality TV with a "soulmate" type of pairing that often. I think you'll be hooked immediately if you watch one episode.

Well, I first saw Treat in The Substitute 2, which was definitely not in the same vein as Everwood or Chesapeake Shores.

I first saw him in "Deep Rising", later forgetting this fact when I saw him on Everwood again.

Me, neither.
Probably around the time when the third season aired, I'm not sure though. Emily's hair length was a clue for me.
