I can't believe how many top seeds on the women's side are out! It's incredible.
How's out on the women's side?

As you know I've watched every, single game too because I love the game, I played the game. So if it was just about the USMNT I wouldn't take out the time to watch and comment on every, single game.

I believe the quality is down some. I can only count on one hand the really entertaining matches so far. Maybe the setting/location, too? Typically they talk a lot about the host country of international tournaments and we haven't gotten anything of the sort during this World Cup, or at least on FOX. The fans don't seem into it like they have been in the past. It's really strange. I remember past World Cups with the fans so loud you could get a headache. You're not remotely experiencing the passion like World Cups of the past.

So I think a few factors are involved.
To be honest I have watched a lot more games this World Cup than the previous one . As a whole I have less interest in soccer compared to how I felt as a kid. I watched most of the games so that I can post and comment here, but I have started to find soccer boring as a whole. Quite often you watch 90 minutes of nothing happening. Or let's say like that - nothing interesting. It's not dynamic enough to hold my interest.

Maybe this guy should be analyzing soccer instead... he might do a better job of it compared to football:

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a contract out on Geiger.
Maradona, I truly believe, has some sort of major mental illness. Either that or he's addicted to drugs because something is very wrong with him.

I wouldn't be surprised either. These people are out of their minds. I even read about a fan of Messi committing suicide because he lost at WC.

What I don't understand is why they'd even think the American ref would be biased and in favor of England? Why??!?! What would be the reason? We share language and culture/history? I mean, hello, what was yesterday? 4th of July. We are separate, we love it, we celebrate it. There's no reason why we'd be anti-Colombia and pro-England. I don't even understand the lame theory here.

^ LOL I read the article more closely:

He only spoke English, some bias was certain
Oh okay, it's because Americans and English both speak English and that's the bias. Okay then.

LONDON (Reuters) - The top women’s seeds continued to be scattered at Wimbledon on Wednesday, with Caroline Wozniacki’s exit meaning five of the top eight were gone before the end of the third day.

In addition to Wozniacki, No. 4 seed Sloane Stephens, No. 5 seed Elina Svitolina, No. 6 seed Caroline Garcia, and No. 8 seed Petra Kvitová have been eliminated. Only No. 1 seed Simona Halep, No. 3 seed Garbiñe Muguruza, and No. 7 seed Karolína Plíšková remain out of the top eight, and No. 9 and 10 seeds Venus Williams and Madison Keys remain to round out the top 10.

No. 25 seed Serena Williams looms large as she won her second-round match Wednesday, and has the potential to upset a higher seed late in the tournament. Second round matches will continue through Thursday.
That is incredible. Seriously, I've never seen so many seeds out that quickly.

Serena is 25th because of pregnancy and her time off or else she'd be in the top 10 easily but still... all those seeds gone is just incredible.

I wonder if this is a record because I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many seeds go down in such a short amount of time on the men’s or women’s sides.

He needs to apologize to the ref if you ask me:

Diego Maradona's apology to FIFA: I was overcome with emotion

Also... in 8 years, I would love it if North America told him he cannot attend our WC. Would love it. His behavior throughout this WC has been pathetic.
