yeah when i was in hiding/worse masks i never got sick.
No Koni I haven't but I feel like no vitamins really do anything for me. Ive tried many times taking them and it never really does much. Speaking of, the nexium stuff you guys recommended hasnt been doing anything so i dont think its that. i am going to try allergy medicine next I suppose. Sigh. __________________

Maybe it’s allergy/sinus related. Or you just have had some bad luck and are in bad cycle of getting sick more frequently.
When I first started watching my oldest niece (went to school at night) it seemed I was coming down with everything and the weird thing is she wasn’t even considered a sick baby. She didn’t even get sick all that much. But I remember when she was a toddler there was a six month period I was getting cold after cold. Then I remember, I got strep throat two or three times in a row and so did my sister and brother-in-law after my youngest niece got it. I remember I would get a cold and then like two weeks later, my throat would start feeling scratchy again and another one was happening. This went on in a vicious cycle for like six months and then vanished as quickly as it arrived. I wonder if for you because your place of employment is such a high risk as far as infections being around high school students you’re just in a cycle right now. You couple that with Covid, and feel like the environment changed our immunity… more weird viruses and bacteria have appeared as a result of how things were during the pandemic. |

Yeah, I genuinely think its just a really bad virus... some strain of something that is going around. And it's just hanging on. I guess my immune system is just bad. But I said before, its always during spring i am sick, so maybe it is allergies. I'm curious to see if I try this allergy medicine if itll work.

I also wonder if the cats have anything to do with it because Ive been housesitting for my mom and her cats are around me 24/7 now. Wonder if its a cat allergy i had no idea that I had... I mean, we've had cats all my life but maybe it can develop later? |

Has anyone around you also been sick? I know you wouldn’t know with your mom since she’s been in Europe. But when your mom was home and you were getting sick was she getting any type of cold symptoms as well? Yes, and what you do in the summer is a big thing as well. You won’t be exposed to anything at school and if your symptoms get better, it will be telling. Allergies definitely can develop later in life. They commonly develop in childhood (that’s when mine started), but adults are not immune to developing allergies later on. I have a coworker who never had allergies in childhood but started allergy shots as an adult. |

I think anything is possible really! Thats the problem there are so many potential things it could be lol.
My friend saw me today and was like "you're sick again?" im like IM STILL SICK! It never left lmao. and no, my mom never gets sick, shes so healthy and has 10x the energy i have. And shes 73! Other than the kids at dance 2x a week I'm not really around anyone. The cherry on top of the cake: I woke up today and my lower back hurt SO BAD. Like, so extremely sore and felt super tight... the last thing i need is back issues now on top of everything else I STG!!!! I took literally 6 ibuprofen and 4 tylenol throughout the day just to make it through. Pray for me lol. I'm breaking apart. |

Have you ever had issues with your back before? I think it doesn’t help matters that you’ve been under the weather. So your muscles and joints are not happy that your immune system is in overdrive fighting infections and/or allergies. That’s very interesting about your friend. So if your friend notices that means something. That’s great about your mom! My dad is the same. Same age as your mom and has more way more energy than his daughter. |

Literally I don't remember a time where my body has been in this bad of shape. I am really feeling like i have rheumatoid arthritis now... cuz its my ankle, knee, back, and even my wrist and shoulder hurts sometimes randomly.... I wanna cry. I dont wanna get old. Im a dance teacher, I need to be able to dance... Oh yeah, everyone knows... even my students in class were like "it seems like you're always sick" ... I AM! Quote:
I invited my brother on our disney trip because i feel bad that me and sister always hang out and leave him out of things, but he never even replied to my texts so... guess i dont feel that bad lol. Apparently he was baptized recently... which is... worrisome to me. I think hes falling into this whole religious cult thing that young men are going through. Yikes. I havent really talked to him or had a deep conversation with him in a very long time, so i dunno for sure but it seemed that he was going down that path a few years ago so i wouldnt be surprised. |

I truly wonder if a lot of of it is because of the upper respiratory symptoms you’ve been battling for a while. Your body just gets tired of constantly battling something and it’s very possible your muscles and joints are fatigued, and then you get more pain and can even injure things much more easily. Quote:
What type of religion for your brother? Is he always kind of flighty about getting back with texts? Maybe he’ll respond soon? |

i hope that is the case about my muscle pain.
I think its christian now... We all grew up with zero religion and then my mom and step dad (his bio dad) turned into pretty big democrats (as did i)... my sister is "neutral" even though her husband is pretty conservative. I noticed my brother was leaning more right about 6/7 years ago. but he was also somewhat "neutral" and then I felt like a few years back on our alaska trip he seemed more "normal" and hoped he was kinda growing out of things. But... nope. lol. I think hes back down that path because of his friends. |
