Yes, the mall is soooooooo 80s. I remember going there with friends, being dropped off at the mall was everything. You felt so cool and free. Eating two meals there (plus snacks) was the goal. Quote:
Plus, yes... what are Mike and Eleven doing? There's a zillion other places to kiss... the mall, Mike's basement since his parents are clueless, any of their friends houses, the arcade, anywhere else! Why do it in front of Hopper? I actually do like them too. I like their little connection but still take issue with how they've handled this aspect. I would never in one million years kiss anyone feet away from my parents at that age (or basically any age for that matter)! I would have been so embarrassed, not to mention, murdered by my parents! Yeah they were being so rude to Hopper! Not cool.
Hopper and Joyce were phenomenal in season 3! Quote:

I still haven't watched the last two episodes. I am going to put them on as background noise now as I work. I really hope it's not legit. If it is, I would say all the more likely the Riverdale they currently live in is not reality. Things are so bizarre. I am just waiting for Jughead or Archie to wake up and find out it was all a dream. I guess we'll see. If reportedly next season is the last of the series, they have to get to a more grounded version (if there is such a thing on this show lol) in order to tie things up. If Betty is pregnant... gross. No. I cannot see Lili accepting this at all. Quote:

Riverdale 6.12
Watching right now. I have no idea what world this is but what I cannot stand is Veronica completely removed from the main mystery. Although I love Tabitha involved mostly due to the actress. |

Riverdale 6.12 random thoughts continued
I love Toni calling Kevin out on his cruising. Exactly. As usual, his mind is warped and sucked into a sort of cult once again but coming down on Toni and Fangs for being in a gang while he gets himself caught up in risky sexual random dangerous situations… damn right, go Toni. ETA Omg, gross Barchie sex scene. PUKE. Yes, thank God no pregnancy. These writers really just hate the idea of Reggie and Veronica don't they? Not that I like them but man, it’s so obvious. They don’t like Jughead and Tabitha either because they legit act like friends while together in a romantic relationship. Ah they let us wait until 6.13 to find out no pregnancy? Dumb. You can tell Betty does not want to be pregnant. Jughead dies in every time traveling scenario. Damn. Cheryl and her mom = boring. What Betty had to do in that flashback to get away from the serial killer was awful. Kevin and Moose now. Whatever. Fangs is better off with Toni by far. I hate Kevin. I love that Fangs wants to fight Kevin in court. Go Fangs. Overall Toni gets all rights you would think but this is Riverdale so crazy cult obsessed Kevin might. Thank God Veronica is getting rid of that awful painting. Last edited by jediwands; 05-09-2022 at 02:51 PM |

Riverdale 6.13
I kind of like the idea of books/items holding power over others. Jughead explained why it works. Betty and Archie find out they're not having a baby and Betty is relieved, Archie is disappointed. LOL. Hey, Archie, wait until you're sure the apocalypse won't happen? Cheryl object, for the love of... it's Jason's corpse. Always. Cheryl is haunted by Heather? Cheryl is kind of fine with this. Kevin returns his book and is seduced by Percival since of course. Kevin, I hate you. Jughead's object is the book his grandfather wrote. Turns out FP died (until it turns out he didn't, again) in the seven year time skip. He was found with severe eczema and now Jughead is starting to suffer as well. Jughead is afraid he'll die alone like his grandfather, who doesn't even have a headstone (we sure he's dead?). Jughead does not burn his grandfather's book. Betty's mom turns over the one diary that Betty didn't burn. Betty's haunting is kind of both good and bad. It's bad in that apparently Hal was killing a lot longer than we realized and Betty apparently is suppressing a lot more than she realized. But it's also because of this, Betty realizes that the TBK profile is wrong and that they should be looking for a man with a family (well, BTK did actually have a family, so...). Archie's guitar is taken by Percival and he's able to bring forth memories (the reanimated corpse?) of Grundy. Archie, at first, tells Betty he doesn't see anything. But then Betty happens to wear the exact pair of sunglasses that Grundy used to wear and he let's her know the truth. I do have to hand it to Riverdale at this point as, not only do they specifically say Grundy was grooming him, but Archie also comes to the conclusion that he left music behind because of the trauma left from Grundy, which actually does make sense. Riverdale does surprise us sometimes with good material and I appreciate that finally Grundy was showcased as a gross evil pedo witch. This reveal and conclusion was good. Veronica and Reggie's story is somewhat tied together. Even though they had a nice breakup conversation, they're back to fighting in this episode. Boring. Reggie even says Veronica can't be on her own and calls her a black widow. Reggie is dyslexic and was the only one who knew exactly where his book was. But Percival is able to use Reggie's fear and loss against him and get into his mind. He also has Reggie deliver an egg to Veronica, who's starting to see spiders. Percival triggers Veronica's powers or he's the one who gives them to her. Anyway, Reggie is now on Percival's side. Veronica sleeps with Geraldo (saw this coming episodes ago) and accidentally kills him with a kiss. She also leaves her painting with Percival, which I'm guessing means bad times for Veronica ahead. I would say that our line up for evil is getting pretty full at this point. Also, it mentions Frank Andrews... have we seen Frank recently? No Tabitha. I like her so she was missed. Thankfully Betty isn’t pregnant. Oh and finally Veronica is involved in the group mystery. Really liked all the group scenes between Veronica, Betty, Cheryl, Jughead and Archie.
