Now if I were to quickly take a stab at what you are the most like? I see a lot of Earth in you. You are very practical, slow, cautious, conservative in your approach to tasks, but enduring, get the job done, very grounded. Tons of earth. I see some Air as well. I don't see Fire or Water that much in you, if at all. I see you as very earthy first. If you would have told me you were a Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus that is what would have surprised me the least. Then I would say an Air sign. But just how you describe things to me and the way you talk I can relate a lot which has to mean I see and feel elements of Earth with you. I bet if you go back and really study all your elements you would find a dominance of Earth, that would be my guess.

My mom is a Sagittarius Fire Sign which means she works from straight intellect. Completely analytical sign. Very quick witted, extremely charming, very blunt (as every Fire sign is) but they have a very intellectual approach to everything they do and say. This is the most selfless Fire Sign, though. The Aries and Leo are far more self absorbed. Farrrrrrrrrrrrr more. The Sagittarius deals with their Fire Energy through the mind and the mind alone. Everything is all about the mind which is why many under this sign are psychiatrists, for example.

My mom and I get along perfectly although when we bicker which isn't all that often but whenever we do, oh you see our signs go at it. LOL. I am the strong, nitpicky, will repeat things over and over again Earth Sign using the intellectualized emotion whereas my mom comes from the pure intellect. Sometimes this collides and it's why they say Earth signs, especially Capricorns don't necessarily match up that perfectly with Fire Signs because Earth diffuses Fire, so Caps will dampen the Fire and to Fire signs, well you can imagine how much they hate when this happens to them. LOL.

Anyway, outside of some bickering matches we get along perfectly. I nicknamed her "Fire" and I have to say she doesn't always like it but she still laughs. LOL.

My dad's an Aquarius like Alex so that's fun. Heh. I don't have to explain this sign since I already did a few posts back but yeah my dad and I get along very well, although sometimes he will politely tell me to get to the point whenever I am trying to tell him what day something took place because the day doesn't matter necessarily, only what actually took place. On the flipside he has some difficulty expressing his emotions and I see him struggle with this a lot, sometimes it affects us, sometimes not, it depends. But overall, we get along very well, like my mom and I do.

My sister is a Capricorn and you can imagine how well we get along. Very much. She is absolutely a true Capricorn through and through. A very successful professional, she's a scientist that works and oversees an entire laboratory (like Alex she doesn't look like a geek, she's quite pretty and doesn't seem like the type to necessarily want to get dirty and/or dig deeper into the sciences, I know this is a stereotype but you still don't look at her and think "scientist" in the least) while having a husband and two children who keep her very busy along with friends she sees constantly. She gets on average about 4 hours of sleep nightly, she never stops. And when you ask her if she is sick when she obviously is she will tell you she doesn't have time to be sick so she won't recognize it. Heh. Pure Capricorn sign. But yes, my sister and I analyze situations for hours and hours together, our retentive memories are there as one so that is fun, heh. So yes, we get along quite well.

My brother in law is a Taurus. Earth Sign again! As you can imagine we get along very well also. We can talk sports for hours and hours and never get bored. It IS fun. We tackle projects together like he will fix my car and I will help him in a manner that is so in sync because of our earthy mutual approach being so similar, it's like peanut butter and jelly. We can really dive into conversations together and not miss a beat and I even had one of my friends tell me she finds it miraclous how my brother in law bond because it's maybe not the norm to be so close, or maybe it is, I don't know, all I know is she thought it was unique and I never really thought about it outside of the fact that I guess we just are similar with our signs so it works and works well.

Their two children, my two nieces...

My older niece who was born on my birthday, which means she's a Capricorn, hee, I think if there is such a thing as a bond that you just KNOW goes way beyond this life? Well, then that's my niece and I. There is something extremely undefinable about us because we feel like we have known each other for years, we can read each others mind, before she was born I felt like I already knew who she was and yes that's deep but it happened through dreams and strong feelings of intuition, and, well, the fact that she was born on my birthday, there's so many things that scream and point to our closeness together. People around us notice this closeness and comment on it all the time. My sisters friends will talk about how my niece and I have this bond that goes way beyond aunt/niece/godmother/goddaughter. We can sit and stare at each other and say two words and be transfixed with each other. But usually we don't because we're Capricorns so we talk like crazy and our words build on each other. There exists this really spiritual connection between us. We can be in a room filled with 50 people starting on opposite ends of the room and somehow, usually within minutes, we find out way to each other and then it's us against them in a way. LOL. We are glued and need to be separated more times than not. We just have this drawing force for each other. I could go on about her and I (moreso than I already have LOL) but yes, she's a Capricorn and boy don't I know it.

Also, my maternal Grandmother that I have talked about before? I have written lengthy posts about her and how deep of a mutual bond we had and all the love between us? She was a Capricorn too. Coincidence? Oh it can't be.

My second niece is another earth sign! LOL. She is like her dad, a Taurus. We get along like peanut butter and jelly, man. She is only 7 and totally transfixed with money. She will carry around coins and buckets full of coins talking about saving and conserving money. That is about as perfect of an example of an Earth sign as it gets and being only 7 and already so practical thinking about the future like this is just all out adorable.

You know instead of me babbling about this I will show you a good description of the two sign combos. First off, the compatibility between you and your hubby is very good. I knew this right away but reading up and refreshing only confirmed. It's interesting because Capricorns and Virgos are one of the most compatible signs of the Zodiac which makes sense since they are both Earth signs yet we see how it doesn't necessarily always have to be just Earth signs together, just Water signs together, because here is an example of an Earth and Water sign having a huge chance of long term success romantically. In general, in my mind this sign combo can have some problems because of the intensity of the Scorpios emotions and the Aquarians aloofness. Think of it this way... A Capricorn in myself sometimes wants to strangle an Alex for being so emotionally distant or so I think she is and Capricorn is an Earth sign who is not super emotional as a rule or our emotions are much more intellectualized whereas, you, as a Scorpio, are much more about direct, even very expressive emotions so that might or could drive you crazy that an Aquarius lacks this a bit. An Aquarius has emotions, though, oh believe me they do, I've seen it with my dad and Alex, it's just that they cannot express them in such a carefree way if that makes sense and it can cause some problems, though, workable problems, with Water signs especially, where they come from a very emotional place if that makes sense.

I see this! Does the clashing have to do with how the Fire sign Sagittarius and Earth sign Capricorn expresses themselves in times of stress? It's just the way you guys analyze while fighting?

This is so sweet. I have to admit (don't shoot me, Mitch) I have seen Michelle and her niece together in person and it is the most adorable thing on the planet. Mitch's niece was sitting on her lap and they were like bantering and in their own little world together. Her niece had to go to the bathroom she turned and grabbed Michelle's hand without even asking and Mitch just got up without needing an explanation. You can see how the two of them view each other in the presence of other people and it is like they are the only two in the room. I noticed this INSTANTLY. Yes, we saw each other at the casino one time so I was lucky enough to view this interaction at dinner. It was extraordinary.

Also, Mitch's niece is so strikingly beautiful at the age of 10 and I hate saying this because she's such a young girl but she is breathtakingly gorgeous! You notice her out of 100 children, your eyes will go to her, she is that stunning. She is... and she looks like her Aunt.

They are indeed but it comes from an earthy type of reasoning in that they are true perfectionists. They have to feel control within their surroundings to be and feel stable.
