Judy, it's totally understandable about not wanting to hear about the spoilers. Sorry about that. We were talking about bad experiences with spoilers over at the Spoiler Virgins thread, if you'd like to join us. Fun times. I think I'm becoming rehabilitated. I'm not as bad as I used to be about those, but the WB site pretty much gives everything away. I might have to stop going there before episodes...

Yay for the new thread, which just happened to fall on the anniversary of our shipdom. The first Jailbait shipper thread was started today (11/10) by Cruel Irony. We are forever in debt to her for starting what has become dear to our hearts. Happy Anniversary! I guess this would be our Shipper Appreciation Day.

I wasn't trying to sound overbearing. I just know that we have alot of talent here.
But yeah, the *hint hint* was for you. I'm kidding.

In continuing our episode discussion, a quote from BF that I liked:

AMY: The point is: you deserve someone great, Ephram. Amazing even. Someone a little less like me and a little more like you.

As self-deprecating as that was, it's totally true. Amy's gotten alot better though so I'll try not to hold what she said last year over her head. Ephram and Madison were a great match and it was just stupid little things that got in the way of them being together long-term.
*The age difference made their relationship taboo so they couldn't let the whole world in on it. (Stress.)
*Andy's little warning about how fragile a situation Madison was getting into with Ephram. That stigma was held over the entire relationship. (Stress.)
*Ephram's tendency to go too far too fast, and the jealousy (ugh!). She chose him over Jay and he still wasn't sure that she wanted to be with him. (Stress!)

They ended things on better terms in Last Looks that they would have if the writers had broken them up in Unspoken Truths like we thought they were going to. They tried their hardest and it just didn't work out right then, but there's still something there. I mean, there has to be or they wouldn't have written in the pregnancy, right?

I saw someone today wearing a UNLV sweatshirt, and I immediately thought of DV! I honestly wish that CBS hadn't axed it, because I would have rathered seeing Sarah doing well on another show with the possibility of appearing on Everwood, than having her appear with nowhere to go after her stint was over. Since the cast and writers love Sarah, I hope that they can make room for her to stay on longer. That would totally make my day.

I really shouldn't be on here, and it's kinda pointless since no one else is on right now, so I'm out. Hopefully until I get ALL my work done. Happy posting to all, and I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's thoughts.

Totally agree about that quote from Amy. Which is why I think Ephram and Amy are better as friends.

As far as the E/M relationship goes... there were only little things that got in their way. I just wish that Madison would've been more comfortable and willing towards the beginning/middle instead of the end. It really seemed like she didn't want it to end, but knew it had to. Also, Ephram was really clingy, so I can see why she would freak out.

I don't know about the pregnancy thing... as much as I want to believe it... the storyline isn't about the relationship or the baby itself... it's about the deception. At least that's what people have said. I know there are interviews out there with Berlanti discussing it, I'm just not sure where.

...It pains me to see things so quiet here at the Everwood board today. I hope everyone is well and having a great week. Boy, Thanksgiving just could not get here any faster. I would however like time to slow down just a smidge so that I can get all my stuff done ON TIME!

BD, I agree with all your points and I failed to remember that the pregnancy storyline IS more about the deception than the actual relatioship. Madison is just a pawn in this little story, which makes me sad, but I'd like to see her amount to more than that in the end.

Rachel, that's gorgeous. I don't think I've seen Ephram that happy. Those two could just sit and not say anything and it would be hot. It was comfortable, but not without its moments.
We only saw them make out once, but the heat generated through their other scenes was enough for me to believe that they were passionate about each other.

I'm going to be cracking down hard on myself just so I can get my work done before break. I'm going to be off here until...I can't even say it...the 22nd. I'm seriously addicted to this place and wasn't even supposed to come on here today, but I didn't want to disappear without a word. I shall miss you all, but the way time has been moving in my life the next ten days will fly by.
I'll definitely drop in on Sunday to set up the next episode discussion. We have to decide whether or not we should do "Three Miners of Everwood" since Madison wasn't in it...there may have been subtle mentions of JB, but it's up to you all. I'll check back on Sunday to see what you guys think and move on from there, k?
